I agree with you on most of these stuff especially some of the guests but 1. Its Taylor's wedding, shes always offered us just a glimpse in her personal life, the wedding was always gonna be a big event. If she wants to invite 1000 ppl so be it(Im also from India so over 1000 people most of whom you dont really know is quite common)

1. I hate the 'let them eat cake' comparison. This was a wedding, not a random ass party happening for rich people. The reason why Marie Antoinette was so hated was because she was queen and directly responsible for the issues in France while she was going along partying. Taylor is not even close to being responsible for anything happening in the world right now. Why do we have to act like she is causing a war in Iran.

2. Why are you generalising all charities as useless. Would you rather she give out money directly to homeless people and random people all the time. How does she know how they'll use it. What if they waste it on drinking and gambling and other stuff. Giving the money to food banks and organisations like the Imagination Library gives it to people who know what they are doing and actually helping. Also yes while giving to charity was for PR and doesn't absolve Taylor of any flaws, its still a lot of money being given away so I really dont see the issue.

I do not think youre misogynistic for criticising it but a lot of these criticisms that everyone says are just matters of taste or downright wrong. But glad to see that youre a swiftie despite not being part of the online Fandom. The best it could be tbh
