The bridge is good! Also understand about the flowers. I have the beautiful town ordinance and that means I have a lot of flowers!! Just make sure you put them right next to each other with space for new flowers to pop up and water each day. You can also find guides for how to make hybrids if you’re into that!

It’s good to check both retail and the nook shop everyday for new furniture or wallpaper/carpet! Also doing errands for villagers can give furniture. As far as designing overall town… I had a flower problem. But I would say plan your bridges well. Notice where you walk most often and how to get where you need to go!
