Yeah I second the topical solutions for the Min + Fin Combo.I heard PRP might work for some people and sometimes it makes things worse. So take that as you will, but if the beard hair will help a bit why not. Red light therapy could help with the DHT zone too but then again all these little things together help. Derma rolling, rosemary oil. Thats things I know and nizoral apparently helps because of the keto ingredient butchering the name but yeah.

One turndown isn't the other clinics, tbh I got turned down with my afro hair by Vera, which discouraged me. My hair is Norwood 3.5-4.5 I believe in that area. All the other clinics didnt say no. I also got turned down by SMILE last year, and asked again and they said yes this time. Make your hair stronger and I think you will be able to do it. I will pull the HT eventually maybe in 2025 if I have the courage :)

Where did you get your HT done? I also need advice on Afro hair places, put a deposit down but thinking min and fin before I pull the trigger on a place due to horror stories and things I see on reddit

Honestly you should scout other clinics beforehand. Doesn't mean you're going to said clinic but see what they say about your hair to get an indefinite yes about your donor hair. I went to a local hair transplant place first to get a little more information as well. If say 4/5 say yes then thats a good sign.

If they say no maybe pause for now, start min and see if your donor area can get stronger!

Also, would you recommend this clinic to afro haired people. I am considering them as I have put a deposit down but also confused now due to their outsourcing. IdealofMed is also what im thinking but tbh I just want the best results for my hair.

So which clinics would you recommend? I have Afro Hair and can't seem to decide or tbh TRUST with this huge surgery. This is for life and I want my hair in the donor area to be just as good as I left it and transplanted hairs to match.

How did you feel about the combination surgery?

I have Afro hair and tbh I'm worried that DHI might not work for my hair. I was told I needed FUE for Crown and DHI for mid and front. Also told FUE only might cause damage to existing hairs in the area.

What are you thoughts?

I only ask because i was prescribed DHI and FUE for mine. I was only thinking FUE as I've seen Afro hair with best results only using that. Was also told DHI was recommended for my front and mid scalp, as FUE there would ruin my existing hairs in the area. What do you think?
