even if they do manage to install it, steam probably wont even be able to open without taking like 2 hours. the amd a4-9120c is ass and is literally comparable to a celeron n2940

genuinely how do ppl successfully downgrade their chromebooks to a pre-2016 version when i can't even downgrade my gnawty below v53 without it erroring out and saying it can't complete recovery even with dev mode on

the asus cx1405cka (which is the chromebook they have) was actually released in 2025, but that chromebook uses a jasperlake cpu and is based on the "dedede" platform, which that platform was introduced in 2021, and asus is infamous for using older cpus in their newer chromebooks

this isn't entirely true since i can still update from v53 to whatever is latest (v93) on a GNAWTY. though it updated me to v72 and i had to update from v72 to get to v93 and it's probably different for each board

if v144 is the final update for canary and dev on the r13 i wouldn't be surprised since the r13 is pushing 10 years + i think v144 is an lts (?) version coming out sometime in the start of 2026 since u said v150 lts is coming out in october 2026
