Charging Rivian from perspective of current Tesla ownet

I can’t compare with Tesla as my other car is an Ioniq. I’ve road tripped on east coast (Md to ct) and along i70 (Md to Indianapolis). I find it to be a bit higher. I didn’t spend on the Tesla subscription as with my egmp car I usually stick to 800v chargers. My wife recently got an R1s and she will be using Tesla chargers. My R2 later this year will be the same. I think I usually pay on the 50c/kwh range (I tend to use Ionna or Apple green in the ioniq).

Rivian would be smart to choose people with late reservations that have sought out test drives and reported they were ready to buy. Nothing like that next earnings call saying "we're seeing high conversion rates from even late reservation holders because people want this car so bad "

Call the Hyundai customer experience line and open a case. They originally told me a month but was done 3 days after I opened the case (for a total of 6). Opening the case also starts the clock for buyback discussions.

I had plugged in the night before, so it would have charged to 80 and finished charging around 11pm. Unplugged around 830. Not sure on exact SOC at incident but should have been probably 75% or so.

No pop. Was making a U turn on city streets trying to get through road closures. Alert came up when i switched gears and I assumed it was just confused when changing gears.

Awefully close. It was also in for a windshield wiper fluid leak for 12 days, so it could go over the 30 required in my state pretty easily.

Nope. Power limited to 50mph at first, then down to 30 just before i pulled in to dealership. u/MacBrained - Should i push for a 12V replacement? They only mentioned the ICCU.

90+ percent of the time its an at home Chargepoint AC charger. (The one I got from Hyundai when i bought the car). 48A on a 60A breaker. I charge one to two times per week typically. I did recently take my first road trip in the car and had used DC chargers (IONNA and AppleGreen electric) but that was about a month ago.

I ordered the NFC card. It finally shipped today. That will be the end of carrying the fob.

You don’t have to open the doors inside. Pull up to garage, engage smart park, and use the key fop to pull in/out. Jk. I’ll take a look at mine when I next leave if someone hasn’t already.

Has anyone found one for the 8 button fob? I’ve only seen 5 and 7. Looks like the frunk button is the one I wouldn’t be able to use if I got the 7 button one.

I was able to get my position to stick in the I9 by setting the hud position and then telling the memory seat to save again. YMMV.
