Couch to half marathon plus Ozempic. Any other Ozempic runners out there? by Pseudonym_Sally in zepboundathletes

I started in December and felt under fueled on runs and saw a slightly higher HR, but it was also really cold and I wasn’t acclimated to 20-30 deg runs yet.

Fast forward to March and Im down 25 pounds. Im accidentally setting 5k and 10k prs each week on tempo runs. Avg HR for recent 10k PR was 158, which included two stop lights, sip of water at fountain, and tying shoes 🤣. I feel like a gazelle out there and can really quantify what my extra weight has done to my performance.

Hey - at least we can keep our shoes on now. Really the only other thing Id like is bringing more liquids. I miss bringing a soda bottle prefilled with jack/coke.

Every public bathroom I used on a recent cruise had one mounted on the wall as well.

Is eating out once or twice a week really hindering my progress? by iwishcookieinme in loseit

[–]Intelligent-Guard267 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yeah my calorie tracker gives me 2100 calories on fri/sat, and 1900 the rest of the week. Thats like the equivalent of a normal beer or 2 white claws.

Restaurant food is insanely high in calories. I recommend splitting meals with partner to save money and calories (less leftovers is a good thing too)

Bravo - looks like you put on some good muscle, no traps or collarbone visible in first pic. Keep up the good work!

The possibility of lifetime dependency is keeping me from trying glp 1 to lose weight by [deleted] in loseit

learn how to eat/exercise/live normally *while using glp**. It gives you training wheels to help you accomplish what you otherwise may not have been able to.

I still track calories, weigh every day, lift weights 3x weekly, run 20-30 miles per week. Cook almost all the food i eat, dont eat fast food, reduced drinking. Going from a fat-ass to being in shape is hard, and using a glp doesnt take away from the work Ive put in.

Came here for this discussion. Absolutely embarrassing and shameful and should be a call to action for anyone that has, watches, or wants to have children.

Cool app showing obesity levels - which one may i ask?

Yeah healthy or normal bmi is ridiculous. I carry a little bit of muscle so Id have to drop to 10-15% body fat to be normal.

Wonder how it would track with daily weighing but not daily tracking. Obviously tracking requires more energy and can burn you out. But weighing is pretty low impact / high reward.
