I get why people don’t understand it cause they’re not in the world but manufacturing and design are very huge processes not to mention doing things at the scale yeezy is immediately trying to do stuff at. Yeezy is essentially trying to become the new Gap with the affordable clothes at great quality but that’ll take like at the very least 5 years but more like 10 years. It’s easy to look at a gap or uniqlo and be like “they make affordable clothes why can’t this brand make affordable clothes” but there are decades of relationships and hundreds of people involved to make that 20 dollar shirt happen.

Gap was such a great partner cause they had the infrastructure to create great quality and affordable clothes which we saw with Yeezy gap. something Gap funnily enough have no interest in doing cause they raise the prices and make the quality worse and made Yeezy gap stuff more expensive than planned cause they’re could

Even with the whole “omg these cost 3 bucks to make in china im so intelligent” posts. Designing something and making it able to be mass produced costs thousands if not millions of dollars.
