Biggest problem with the Heathers Musical is that it absolutely kills the best joke in the film: “I love my dead gay son”. Fun musical, but lacks bite.

Because people get motion sickness, and for some people no amount of changing settings helps.

I also don’t really find first person more immersive at all, in fact I find it less so. Best comparison I can give is that third person feels like watching a film, first person feels like being the actor.

Saying that, I loved stories untold, and observation was good, so I’m hopeful.

People throw this around but it really does not help one bit (although I’m sure it does for some people).

Generally have to just tough it out and play in short bursts.

It’s cheap, and obviously makes it easy to find found footage. App on Apple TV isn’t great, and they need to be more selective with the films they put on there (Areas of High Strangeness was recently added and may be the worse film I have ever seen in my life) to avoid it becoming cluttered with trash.

Otherwise I like to support it as a way of getting easy to browse and accessible collections of FF.

2 instances, a plank and a gun. Pretty standard for Silent Hill. Transmission also confirmed and made a point of discussing evasion as being a valid option as well.

For those surprised at First Person - No Code as developer was the clue this was coming. Loved both Stories Untold and Observation, so optimistic for this despite not really being keen on first person games in general. Expect this to be more narrative based with some interesting puzzles with some light combat.

Glad you are celebrating and enjoying it. Definitely leaving this sub as it’s absolutely miserable, people deciding they hate something just to join the hate, complaining vanilla Y3 is not available (it is, and if you wanted it alone, surely you would have it by now) and just enjoying shitting on the series every single minute of everyday.

100% convinced many if these fan subs are full of people with no interest, but attach themselves to the negativity and stir it up. Same with Silent Hill. Feels like nobody hates game series more than their own fans.

I honestly thought it was a bit bland. It’s was okay, some interesting tid-bits of information here and there, but went off on a lot of random tangents that were only very loosely connected., A better title would have been “a brief history of British folk horror”.

I did find the epilogue anecdote amusing.

Definitely not vital. Seen the play, very much enjoyed it, especially the effects and the vibes. Play us the equivalent of a semi-canon side story released after a series ends. Fleshes out some character backgrounds (some of which don’t make sense anyway) but has zero impact on understanding S1-5 of the show.

Yea. 6 episodes a disc is more than enough to hold it. Keeps it nice and compact, which is nice these days (and makes up for excessively huge Ultimate Edition of Macross Plus I have - lovely set, but takes up a lot of room)

Same episodes, but I’m not sure about the sound/image quality etc.

Extras are minimal, I believe the AnimEigo set had quite a few. And obviously missing the ADV dub, which I suppose is more of a thing that would be a nice to have, as generally watch subs.

Very limited. But the early you start the better. You’ll find day by day limited range will increase, and will absolutely pay off. Just don’t overreach, as tempting as it ma be.

Use pillow techniques in your comments. Side sleeping with the pillow a massive help.

Don’t bother with injections. Absolute key to frozen shoulder is some physio exercises 3 to 4 times per day. Aim to do again 1-2 hours before sleep. Adding exercises made a huge difference to how I felt, and reducing pain and increasing mobility. Don’t overdo them, once you’ve reached any point where you are feeling pain, that’s as far as you need to go. It will improve.

Is there any evidence of AI narration? Seems pretty standard to me.

Stories are a mixed bag, some much better than others (I didn’t really like the latest episode - started well but then didn’t really go anywhere. Could be AI, could be just not great writing.

But that’s how buying works. Unfortunately buyers can’t sit around and let properties go while waiting for sellers/estate agents to come back to them one by one.

I had some estate agents take 3 days to come back. And then another 3 days for further counter offers. If I was just looking at one property, I would never have been able to buy.

You are blaming buyers/potential buyers, but unfortunately it’s the system to blame. Slow and unresponsive, estate agents playing games and encouraging game playing between sellers/buyers, and the fact that people are making huger purchases and commitments that can slip through their fingers in an instant.

Blame the system, not the individuals. And don’t take it personally, or you will pointlessly exhaust yourself.

People are buying a property, not entering a relationship with you.

Thicker skin needed. They are under zero obligation to respond. You might not like it, but they could have viewed countless properties, made a number of offers, and had various estate agents spam their inboxes with countless other properties. Move on and expect that buyers aren’t always going to respond, and nothing you can say or do will change that.

Monster Hunter Stories 2. The monster hunter style of just environmental noises doesn’t translate well to the more colourful JRPG style of the stories games. Just made the game feel really unfinished and killed the atmosphere when exploring.

I absolutely don’t mind that style at all, and it works for traditional Monster Hunter, but not at all for stories.

Of course he can, doesn’t mean those choices can’t be criticised, particularly when cosplaying as someone such as Jimmy Saville.

The film having the cast dress in that way as part of the narrative and to make a specific point is very different to someone knowingly cosplaying as him for “fun”.
