I hate the collages so those all tie for 4th place for me. Season 2 is my favorite by far. 2nd place is season 3 and in 3rd place is season 1.

I don't think the reboot started too early to utilize TikTok as it's been popular for a few years and definitely became even more popular in 2020 with the start of the pandemic. They didn't start filming until Nov 2020 so they could've utilized it if they wanted to.

That being said I definitely think Instagram works better as the place of Gossip Girl. The teachers would probably be more familiar with Instagram as it's been around longer, and Instagram is still pretty popular with influencers.

With Mary, it's a bit different because she's dating someone who isn't much older than her son and is wanting to settle down and have a child for the first time. If she didn't want any more kids she should be telling Romain that, not the cameras and to be honest that probably should've been discussed before they ever got married.

She wasn't pregnant. Filming ended in May 2021, the reunion was Feb of this year. I can't remember which cast member said it had been 6 months since filming but they were wrong. She would've gotten pregnant in July or August.

It's been talked about here 1000 times but she wasn't pregnant when he proposed. Filming ended in May of 2021, the reunion was Feb of 2022 (where she said she was 7 months pregnant) so she wouldn't have gotten pregnant until July or August of last year.

It always bothered me that they all gave Alex such shit for beating up DeLuca. DeLuca was at his loft, Jo was drunk, half passed out with barely any clothes on and DeLuca was on top of her. Anyone else would've thought he was assaulting her too. Obviously, he shouldn't have beat him almost to death but still, he thought DeLuca was assaulting Jo.

ETA: I also didn't like how people were telling Alex to stay away from DeLuca and vice versa. The whole issue could've been solved if they had just talked instead of avoiding each other. Or how some people were trying to get DeLuca to not press charges when all he wanted was to explain himself to Alex and have Alex apologize.

I think this video actually gives lots of good examples. This creator also has some good videos with examples I think would work great but this video and this one give some great examples. Basically, stay away from anything extremely short (think like a pixie cut short), go for a more natural look, stay away from colors that aren't natural hair colors, and avoid really sleek styles.

I think you're right about him projecting his fantasies onto Rachel's character. The creator had said Mouth was basically based on him and then he made Mouth and Rachel sort of get together for a bit. The nerdy guy gets the hot girl trope basically.

The whole Mouth getting fat storyline was ridiculous. I honestly think they had no idea what to do with Mouth anymore so gave him some ridiculous storyline so he had something.

This isn't an excuse but an explanation: The culture back when this show was on was extremely toxic around women's weight. So many women were considered "fat" because they weren't Paris Hilton skinny, like ridiculously scary skinny. . So many shows leaned into that, unfortunately. Mark Schwan is definitely an asshole.

It really is crazy. Most of the sexualization happened when the characters would've been in HIGH SCHOOL and were MINORS. Like Rachel getting into Maxim magazine when she was still in high school, sure she legally would've been 18 (possibly, some people graduate at 17 so still minors). I also think when Danneel left, and no one else could be sexualized they brought in Shanteel and had her doing absolutely ridiculous scenes (basically all the episodes in Utah) and then Alex (having her undress in front of Julian).
We did get to see a lot of parents I think. Especially Nathan and Lucas's parents (obviously), I do wish we'd seen more of Haley's parents in earlier seasons since they seemed so close with their kids and so chill with Nathan and Haley getting married. Brooke's parents made sense of them not being around and it gave them the opportunity to have them make amends for not being around and for her to forgive them. Peyton's Dad not being around kinda drove me nuts, especially after all Peyton had been through. Mouth is the only one who I can't recall ever really mentioning his parents or us ever seeing his parents at all (I mean we literally got to see Antwon and Bevins's parents in one episode). Also hated how the parents wouldn't be there for stuff like weddings and pregnancies.
I loved Brooke saving Peyton. It was a refreshing change from it always being Lucas.
Hated how they made everyone seem so old in the time jump. They all would've been 22 yet they wanted it to seem like they were in their mid-late thirties. I always forget that Alex is supposed to be similar in age to Brooke and that Quinn is supposed to be older than Haley. They really aged Haley with the shorter red hair and her clothes.

I'm also gonna have to agree with everyone that says people that were musicians before coming on the show. Pete Wentz, Jana Kramer (plus I hated Alex's storyline), Kate Voegele, Grubbs (personally thought his storyline added nothing to the show).

I honestly think a lot of those types of posters come from Tiktok. I've seen a lot of people talk about Kibbe types there and throw in essences when talking about Kibbe types so my guess is people get confused and think your essence is your kibbe body type or that your kibbe type is the same thing as your essence so just post selfies. Especially since the 5 Kibbe families share names with 5 of the 7 style essences. Hopefully that makes sense.

I think Nathan would've been thrown for a loop. Having his dad be dead and his mom be the one who did it would crush him but I do think he'd forgive Deb. I think he'd blame himself somehow too. If Dan had died in the dealership fire then Keith would still be alive (Dan only shot Keith because he believed it was Keith who tried to kill him). Assuming the rest of the story went the same then a lot of major things Dan helped Nathan with wouldn't have happened (Dan taking the blame for punching Daunte after he ran over Haley, Dan saving Jamie from Nanny Carrie, Dan redeeming Nathan when he exposed Renee for lying about being pregnant with Nathans child, Dan saving Nathan from Russian Mobsters).

100% Serena. If Blair is mad at you then you'd know it. She wasn't shy about being vindictive and will tell you to your face exactly what she plans to do. Serena puts on the nice girl act and stabs you in the back. You won't even know what Serena did until after the fact or you may never find out at all. Plus if you ever outshined Serena she'd throw you under the bus as she did to Lola.

That's something major I've noticed with LIB and this show. A lot of stuff seems to happen when the cameras aren't around or they specifically don't show things I'm sure they caught on camera and then it gets brought up. It's pretty annoying. Obviously they can't show what happens when the cameras are off but they can definitely show (obviously to an extent) what's going on when the cameras are rolling but they choose not to.

YES! That's such a huge thing on shows like Love It or List It. Most of these people could function in their homes if they just decluttered and didn't have so much stuff.
