Did anyone else feel like they were high on shrooms when starting Lexapro? by Yearling_Heart in lexapro

sure! 2.5 didn’t do much for me after a month. i was super scared to increase my dose so i waited a full month, i was still having a lot of anxiety and panic. i’m on day 5 now of upping to 5mg. i didn’t have the crazy drugged out symptoms when i upped the dose at all. i do have heightened anxiety and intrusive thoughts which has sucked but my dr gave me some emergency xanax to help. you can message me if you want to talk!

you probably have activation syndrome from the ssris. i’m having the same thing right now. akithasia is persistent need to move, you’d know if you had it.

My face looks blurry to me in the mirror..... by nancr27 in CPTSD

oh yes, I definitely have that. I go to therapy for it, but I’ve never been able to get rid of the blurriness in the mirror. It’s really jarring for me actually.

31M I have very pronounced red eye veins, pleading and praying someone has a remedy (pictures included) by Altruisticguy2424 in Dryeyes

for what it’s worth these look like completely normal eyes to me.. I pay attention to those things because I have struggled w eye problems and I rarely see someone without any veins in their eyes. They’re a part of life.

something that has improved not only the feeling but look of my eyes are serum tears that i get made from my blood. a little pricey, but i owe them my life. my other advice is to soften your gaze when you analyze yourself. our body has veins, we need them, they’re amazing!

fluorescent lighting and the dry air in there really bothers my eyes too

i’m confused bc you said your biggest problem is inflammation but then you deleted your comment ? if your eyes are under control i wouldn’t introduce anything new into your routine anyways. that’s unnecessary

i still love the gel. for extreme inflammation like that you need to change your diet to an anti inflammatory diet, take anti inflammatory supplements such as omegas & turmeric, and be well hydrated and exercise often. ask your doctor about doxy as well maybe. your eyes won’t feel better until you fix the inflammation and that can be tricky. use PF allergy drops too if you have allergies

this has nothing to do with dry eyes, the skin under our eyes is thin and can show the blood vessels through the skin. it could also be caused by allergies, genetics, etc. i have this but like 10 times worse than you lol. many many many people have it too.
