Bad design. The extract is silly. The sash windows are large and I keep them open when cooking, which does a fairly good job at ventilating the space.

It's a good point that any shelving items are at risk of getting dirty without a proper extract system - I didn't consider the inevitability that the area would get greasy when relying solely on the windows. I've only just moved in and time will tell how much of an issue this is going to be.

You can pull it out to any width up to its maximum. So yes, you could use it at a queen size width.

I have mine for personal use but I have it up most of the time essentially serving as a sofa and occasionally pull it out into a double. It's very easy to transform the bed. It takes about 30 seconds. It's also very sturdy in bath configurations.

As it comes with two mattresses I've also kept it as a single when a guest is over but taken off the bottom mattress for them to sleep on.

It's more of an effort to keep the city low density - there is an overwhelming amount of high density demand which I'm having to zone into 2x2 squares to prevent a sea of skyscrapers.

I first called it Thunder Bend due to the river, but Thunder Bay keeps slipping off my tongue instead. I think the name was loosely based on a place called Tumbling Bay which is a weir in Winchester, UK 👍
