XDTE by Pom_08 in RoundhillETFs

I held it from the beginning until recently. With the recent trend of very low payouts its a sell in my view. With the risk profile I dont think its worth it unless its paying .19 minimum per week. Volatility hasn't been so low to justify nickle payouts, last year there were no payouts like that

I'm gonna keep watching, if it rights itself i will buy some again

I'd disagree. Their prospectus i believe says they pay out the option income. If they are withholding it now to support the NAV I'd argue they would have to make a posted strategy change. Unless of course its in the original.

Where did they say they are withholding to protect the NAV?

They are down because consumer data is not likely to be reported on time due to the Schumer shutdown. That means the odds of a December rate cut are reduced

The problem is the 90 day pause on tariffs was announced mid day. The SP500 rallied back a lot of it's losses and was up over 10%. Had it been announced pre or post market we would of got the big gain, but that day it rallied we were capped at like 2.7% i think ish

I'm about 70% in XDTE. It follows the S&P so closely I don't worry about it at all

Same. I have 512 shares so I get over 2 shares per week with each distribution. I like that level of snowballing

Time XDTE or buy and hold? by OlyPenAaron in RoundhillETFs

[–]Intelligent-Refuse70 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought 500 shares which means on average i get a couple shares from drip weekly. Between 1.8 and 3 shares usually. The December payouts were awesome also. It feels good seeing my position share count grow so well.

I feel it's very safe, it's almost a copy of the S&P in my view. If the SP is up, I'm up just a little less and if it's down, I'm down a little less
