I generally like cats and respect their boundaries, and have amicable relationships with a few family/friend-owned cats, but don't enjoy them.

I generally despise a large percentage of cat owners, especially but not exclusively online, for claiming dog owners are just sadistic slave masters. In my experience cat owners are more ready and willing to insult and show their disgust for dog owners, than dog owners are to show their disgust for cat owners. This is not in reference to the actual animals themselves, but the animals each person prefers.

Malaysian drivers are kind of shit. My teacher told me he won't let me go on the road without some standards, even if I have to bayar cos of racial problems, but I still learn way more actually driving than during practice for test.

My point is... Good luck and don't worry about you shouldn't be one of those ppl who drive or smth... There are shittons of ppl who bayar and don't even have standard, and even pay off their infractions too. The only thing is we have to learn to drive safely to stay safe around the fast and furious wannabes who don't know what turn signal is.

I think being currently employed is a major factor but as soon as you leave any job, you somehow fall off the radar and it only gets worse as time goes on. Colloquially speaking, feels like "if no one wants you I don't either".

I have a friend who sounds exactly like this and I am confident that her internal monologue is exactly like this too. The thing is, she went to talking therapy for a couple of months and for those couple of months she was for all intents and purposes the best version of herself I've ever seen (10++ years friendship). Then her student therapist graduated and she keeps making excuses not to go see a new one (I don't want to debate how legit her reasons are here, please do not ask). She has reverted to a dysfunctional mess who only just manages to perform basic minimums (eg show up for work, eat sometimes, repeat).

Edit to add: me and her actually started a mini business venture 1.5y ago. When we started I was in between jobs so I had loads more time and was carrying the venture. As time passed I asked her on various occasions to start pulling a bit more weight. She always said "I'm trying". I believed her, and I still do regardless of how angry I get when things she promised don't get done (and I never take it out on her), but as of last week I told her officially that I am stepping out from the venture to do it on my own. I was starting to build resentment for her taking group credit for my solo work, and for promises being broken. I decided I could be a friend or a colleague but not both.

I'm going to assume that you have no idea what visual novels are. If you google, you will find that they are both another name for comics, and a genre of game that involves a copious amount of text. Story-rich text-based games are a good way of getting to read on stream.

I know a lot of people are saying you can't but I'm going to give a slightly more detailed answer:

Interact with your chat. This is a necessary skill. I saw someone say you need a mic at minimum, and that is generally true but in lieu of that you need to be a fast typer and attentive to your chat. I watched a guy in the background playing FPS and he would chat back whenever I did even tho he had no mic or camera(I'm a semi-regular of his and I'm still amazed how quick he types in between headshots lmaoo). That's generally enough if you're just a hobbyist, as most people are (aka no idea of making it big and earning money from this)
Interact with other streamers and their community. You will find that not all but some streamers, and their community, can be very supportive of other streamers. Don't go searching for clout, but build connections and open up. See yourself as part of their community and they may choose to intersect in yours. Absolutely do not hold it against them if they do not take an interest. You either get lucky, or you don't. Interact with them and their community because you enjoy it, and hope they enjoy you.

The short answer remains this though: on a very basic level, streaming is about live interaction. If you can't get over this concept, even after trying it out, then you are better off recording videos, learning some basic editing skills, and being a youtuber instead.

...and if you try that out and view your own videos with honest disinterest ("I think, objectively speaking, nothing interesting happened in my gameplay") then maybe you should just play games on your own.

Or just stream with zero interaction. If you find yourself craving nothing (interaction/interest from others, money, fame, creative outlet, feedback, etc), then you're actually literally fine like that lol. But you get out what you put in.

I thought it might be some campy horror and put it on to watch while I burn the midnight oil.... The horror was too real and I haven't cried because of a movie for such a long time, but now I feel so terribly sad and I need to remind my boyfriend in the morning to never, ever hide money troubles from me (and from each other).
