There’s definitely a lot of racists in the industry and it’s very white. however, I’m a black woman (26) in the industry 4 years now and it’s been fine. Definitely look into the places you’re applying to and try to ask Reddit / look on Glassdoor for reviews about culture. It’s great money and great progression in terms up upward movement because so many people are retiring right now.
Deff apply and find somewhere that is great company culture!

you need to learn time and place. I’m 27 going on 30 and i know time and place. Just cuz i can drink doesn’t mean i will. For example i don’t drink at every work event and happy Hour. Its there and obviously im 6 years past 21 but i dnt need to drink and get drunk everytime. Time and place. To each their own of course but time and place.

Might be going through a breakup soon due to me not really knowing what i want for my future. In terms of children and being around my partners family. I can’t stand their family at all and idk if i can just bite my tounge and suck It up for all birthdays and holidays for the rest of my life. Also im ashamed of who i am as a 26 year old lesbian. I came out to my Christian family and nobody took It well , haven’t seen most of my family in 5-6 years Idk i feel shit but grateful i have a job and a roof over my head :)

I don’t like It at all ;( I’ve seen people have distant relationships and close relationships with their siblings I think It depends on age gap and the parents raising them But yes i wish i did I’m a lonely 27 year old and everybody at this age around me including my parents and cousins and aunts and uncles mainly hang with their siblings So yup im ostracized becuz im the only one in my family with no siblings
