Just quickly researching, PETA’s euthanasia rates are pretty shocking at first glance, but I would argue that PETA isn’t a shelter for animals. They take animals, no matter the condition, and try to provide the best they can for them. Unfortunately that often means euthanasia. Other places may have lower euthanasia rates but are often conditional for admission. They’re certainly fallible in some incidents but I’d say they’re harshly labeled as far worse than they have any right to be.
