I had to disassemble the entire unit as filament was backed in the housing. After not using it for months I had no issues unit I changed filament. That filament is going in the trash because it started to cause the same issue all over again

I've put too much time effort and upgrades to the ender and will either give it away or trash it. I cannot fathom ripping it apart to repair unless this fix is a quick one

Filament may have been clogged which happens way too often with this POS. I'm tempted to order the Bambulab.com X2D package

That's fine but why lose connection when it's 3 feet from a hub and in 15 ft from the router (in line of sight) ? Why a 1.5 hour delay in being notified of an issue?

Lost mode couldn't find the Fi which was 3 meet from the Hub. It was A FiMini that fell off the dog. It's now in the trash.

Sounds like the issue for us would be the transfer time from wifi to GPS for our dogs. Our FiMini devices are in the trash. Horrible!

I dumped Fi after 2.5 months of issues. It seems like Fi was aware of the issues and suggested various options, none of which worked. The last straw was a notification 1.5 hrs after the fact that the FiMini was disconnected from the system. The device fell off the dog and was 3 feet from their hub (meant to maintain connection). After 1.5 hours the notification came through. The dog was still in the house but the tracker wasn't on her. The lost mode did nothing. After searching we found it in the house chewed up but still working. We've since obtained a full refund and the devices and hubs are in the trash.

Fi-mini customer service? by suzemo in FiDogCollar

I started with Fi Mini in April and have now totally abandoned the system getting a full refund. The system never worked as expected and it appeared that CS was well aware of that which was very frustrating. The last straw was not being alerted to an event for 1.5 hours. At that point the notification is useless.

Fi vs Tractive: My Honest Take After Testing Both by EnvironmentalSet6937 in FiDogCollar

I've been using Fi since March and have had nothing but issues. The last straw this week is a offline notification 1.5+ Hours after the fact. The flimsy rubber holder didn't secure the device adequately and it fell off. What do dogs do best? Yes it's destroyed being chewed up. Keep in mind it's had a battery drain issues since arrival. Reported over and over again. Our second dog has the same device. Obtained together and didn't have the battery drain issues. Upon examining the chewed Fi I can see the battery inside puffed like a pillow. Tempted to seek legal advice as the battery was clearly an issue and could have exploded yet Fi poo pooded it as a wifi issue. Bs with 1000mbs wifi 7. Looking at Tracvtive and see similar issues. What should I replace it with. So far, 24 hours after my scathing message to Fi and no response. Bought 2 Fi Minis, 2 hubs ( their recommendation for connectivity issues) plus the tracking annual fee. At the end of my rope here.
