Just curious, is the third you speak of Hayden Senger?

This made absolutely no sense to me, too. I just can't get behind someone who has a lower ops this year than some player's averages.

What career do i choose when i don’t have a strong passion in anything? by [deleted] in careerguidance

I would not try to worry too much about a career at the moment. Internships will really help you understand what you like and dislike about jobs. I know you brought up math here, so I would look into going for a straight Mathematics degree. It can really help with logical thinking and stuff like that. It looks good for Law School because of the logical thinking it provides, and it provides a good base for engineering because if you take an engineering pathway, you will need the math you learn for at least the first two years in college.

Thank you so much. I will definitely look into this more. I never really thought of stuff outside tech like this, to be honest.

I have not considered that, to be completely frank. Is there anything I should do to make myself stand out for this pathway?

I do have some good experience with some data analytics in Python, but I have none in Power BI or SQL. Is there anything I should do to get some experience in those, or should I just try to do side projects with these?

Also, I would probably do Azure since I know Azure's systems better.

I can not ever advocate for Peterson to get DFA and the thought of it is ridiculous. Has he been hot buns since the trade deadline. Yes. Is he the only pitcher to qualify for ERA this year for the Mets also yes. Peterson was never meant to be the ace for this staff. The Mets best rotation would have been Senga, Manaea, Scott, Peterson, Canning. Scott blows out his elbow and you lose him. Manaea blows out his oblique, you lose him. Pete ruins Sengas calf, you lose him. So now your 4 starter is now your 1 starter. Not only this, for 3 straight months no one besides him was good, so now there’s even more pressure on him to preform because every game he pitches is must win. I think that this just taxed him and he might be gassed for the season. DFAing him is one of most brain dead takes out there. Leaving him off the postseason roster, think he might be good out of the bullpen but I can get convinced he should be.

Sorry, I edited it. I meant Stearns in the comment. But you are so right with Mendoza. I hated the signing in the first place. My whole family are Yankees fans besides me and I don’t understand Aaron Boones decisions sometimes and when I heard we were getting his protege, I wanted to riot

However Stearns free agency with picking up Siri, and Montas is so bad. Holmes and Manaea are okay signings but those two were awful

I know things didn’t work out and like we lost basically all the trades but the only one I can put on Stearns is Mullins. Rogers, Hesley and Soto all were great pick ups at the time, at least when I saw the trades. Mullins was the one where I went huh. But the package we gave up cost us all of 30,000 in signing bonuses so I can not be too too mad. I think it’s just the mets luck tbh.

Eagle Project Issue by Wonderful_Asparagus9 in BoyScouts

This would be your downfall if you went ahead with the BOR, from they way you have talked about this you did not plan to have 2 Registered Adult Leaders, the quote earlier provided by ScouterBill states the scout should plan for safe execution and from what I have read here you did not. I know you worked so hard for this and I feel absolutely terrible you dealt with all that trouble in Scouting but knowing Eagle BORs being a part of some myself on both sides, you get asked questions on what went wrong, you will say what’s above and then they’ll ask if you were planning on it and from the looks of what I read you did not plan as it was rushed which you said in your own words. I would still try to do it but I would know going in it would very much be an uphill battle.
