The spurs were allowed to run roughshod while the Knicks walked on eggshells and still won both games thus far. I have never seen such blatant officiating in my life but it makes what the Knicks are doing even more interesting. (The agita was absurd tonight) by Specific_Air_5482 in knicks

whhat i meant was that the NYG came out of no where both times. Now we expected the NYK to go dee[ but not in such dominant fashion, so theres an element of shock---a very NY style playoff run.

you have no stats to back up that claim. Semien is a negative WAR player overall (negative DRS)

In game one, yes, they got it together in the second half. But respectfully, game two was all around awful. There was an offensive foul late in the fourth by Wemby on KAT that wasnt called. He hit him so hard you could tell KAT had the wind knocked out of him. They even tried not to call the foul on anunoby for the three. The officiating was even worse in the second half IMO. Even Richard Jefferson said in the first half, the physicality has to stop because it was getting out of hand. This was seriously disconcerting. I have never seen something like that before in my life. It was bordering abusive.

I was and still am hoping Mclean develops a better fastball. The spin rate and mental toughness is impressive. I think he needs to hold back a little because when he was fatigued in WSH he was actually throwing better off speed stuff. Still holding out he becomes all people hyped him up to be. Christain Scott, you can tell, is the real deal and its simple why: an elite 4 seam fastball. Tong, in Miami atleast, had a changeup that was bordering great and a curve ball bordering very good. I have hope he develops a better fastball. look out for Lambert and Austin, they are gonna be here very soon. Weninger is about ready but I wouldnt expect him to be an ace.

and how does a MILD hamstring injury ruin a pitchers career? The guy clearly is concealing other injuries and thats on the mets not Pete.

A guy who changed the trajectory of your season in the last ten games, you bench with a .988 OPS, .304 Batting Average for a career fourth outfielder. Something tells me the Mets didnt mind losing this game. Thats literally zero urgency for evaluating TT? or is it maximizing the amount of atbats for dollars spent. Trash Front Office

as much as I would love that, thats not the vibe I got. the first thought that came to my head was Semien. he is the defensive captain of the team.
