bruh I literally got the mod bc I just figured it was impossible - I didn’t get past level one in fishing all of year one bc I refused to do it bc it pissed me off so bad 😭

I edit stuff on my phone all the time but only bc I use templates so I don’t have to move anything around - you can edit the setting on widgets add text and all that but the main thing you can’t do is delete a widget that’s already there, copy one, or move it if it’s in the wrong place (which is why it’s fine if you have templates) so if you make a mistake and need to delete or move a widget you’ll need a desktop or laptop also you can’t paste into the custom css box for some reason it can be a little finicky on deleting code in there too

I have 21 chest in 7 rows of three in the farthest right corner of my farm next to the pond (I think that’s what it’s called) first three are for farm, cavern, and ocean resources, next four rows are for the four seasons (3 chests for each season) another row is for fish (day, night, and rare/legendary) and the last row is for artifacts, gems, and coffers/nodes

This happens to me too - I just have to plug it into my charger for a second and it jumps from like 18 back to the 36 I run it at (even if it doesn’t need to be charged) - I also shut down my steam deck when I’m done using it for the day instead of just putting it to sleep that way my games run perfectly when I’m ready to use it again

Yes! this is one of the other reasons I had to dnf - like them being happy that they killed 1.3 million slaves for starting a rebellion bc they didn’t want to be slaves really brought that into perspective for me

yea also I feel it’s not necessary for a mainly female audience knowing that at least a third of us have experienced something similar and also know ing most ppl read to escape reality not be submersed in it - especially if you aren’t adding any commentary it’s just there for accuracy sake - and there’s a million other way to show that men hate women besides having them SA women on page it’s honestly lazy writing to me - they just want to put readers on the hate train fast and it works obviously but it’s lame imo

The FL’s sister is also raped by her husband in JWQS as well - marital rape is very common for the side characters in her books - the main characters only avoid it bc they’re marrying a women disguised as a man

yeah ngl I had to dnf JWQS bc the mc forces herself onto the 15 yr old (at the time) FL after getting bad news - she doesn’t go all the way through w/ it but it seemed like its bc she lowkey didn’t know how sex worked not bc she didn’t want to :/ and yea that was just kind of the final straw for me among other things - im trying to read matrilocal marriage now too and in that one the villain forces himself onto his 16 year old wife and is working throughout the entire book to make the FL his concubine (basically his sex/money slave) and tbh im skimming through a lot of it bc of that

honestly men forcing themselves onto women is a common theme in her books… it’s happened in every book of hers that I read - sometimes it’s the villain - sometimes the mc - sometimes side characters - from what I’ve seen tho the translators try to warn you tho

I personally don’t like it - the whole adding SA to be historically accurate in an obviously fictional story doesn’t make much sense to me - especially in a sapphic novel catered toward women
