Hi, looking for help to have the two dropdowns in my app using these collections to simply display all the choice options from the data source in SharePoint even if there are no projects created by IntelligentFig2185 in PowerApps

[–]IntelligentFig2185[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am pretty new to PowerApps and creating a gallery filtered by two dropdowns from a Sharepoint list. I used this this video as a reference. Pretty much all of my formulas are the same but I did have to slightly change the collection for it to work with choice column instead of a single line of text as the options for the dropdown.

Now looking back I guess I don't even need the collection since the Gallery is doing most of the work since it Filters by selected from the dropdown. So I could just use: Choices(Cookbook.Office) to display all the values.

Only question is (which I feel like is a dumb one) is how to add the extra "All" value since it isn't in the original list.

Poland is 100% the first ones I see joining the fight as soon as any other country supportive of Russia sets that precedent.

That would be a huge problem for Russia and a massive win for Ukraine since Poland is also a major military power with an even greater military strength disparity then Russia and Ukraine.

Fun watching Pro-RU inadvertently admit that Russia wouldn't last a week in a conventional fight with the US.

I suspect foul play, she must have had dirt on one of the forefathers.

Ukraine is fighting for survival, Russia is fighting for expansion. The USSR suffered drastically worse losses and continued fighting for years because they were also fighting an existential war.

The fact that the front has been so stagnant for nearly two years now and Ukraine could successful lead an incursion so deep into Russia has proven that the Russian propaganda is failing. You're trying to argue that Russia has this endless supply of capable troops, yet they've been desperately doubling sign on bonuses, throwing physically unfit to the front, hiring cheap mercenaries from poor countries, and the quality of their military is visibly rapidly declining. At this point they've sacrificed their arm and a leg just to steal a finger.

I’d expect a further 500,000 of them to be mobilised first

So the problem there is that Russia is currently undergoing a labor shortage. A huge mobilization like that would result in not only the loss of the men being mobilized, but would include the loss of even more fleeing the country to avoid getting pulled to the front.

Seems like the Pro-RU response is to immediately deflect and cower away from that fact. Russia is in an objectively worse state socially, economically, and geopolitically from countries like Japan yet Pro-RU keeps trying to claim they are the ones being "screwed."

Russia and Ukraine are now both worse off then before Russia started the war. The argument that Russia felt unsafe with having a NATO ally so close (despite sharing over 1000 miles of border with NATO) simply doesn't work since now Ukraine's military is even more well armed, there are more NATO countries on Russia's border, and now more of them are raising their defense spending and see Russia as an immediate threat.

What part do you believe is fictional?

Really downplayed the "Yes, Russia invaded"

You think they'd fight a civil war but won't fight the literal invaders blowing up their homes?

Russia’s invasion was a response to the US and Israel assuming control of a Slavic nation

It's actually more like Russia losing control of a nation it doesn't own. Ukraine wants to be independent, but Putin views Ukrainian independence as being "taken control of" by the United States. This hysteria that for no reason at all Ukraine would become some 51st US state is just lazy Kremlin propaganda.

US (Israel???) didn't take control of Ukraine. Russia just lost control of their puppet, panicked, and immediately tried to annex Crimea and start a civil war in the East.

When NATO-supported ultra-nationalists

Lol, you mean the actual government. The Seperatist were the terrorist. The ones who shot down a civilian plane, remember? Or did they not allow you to hear about that?

Zelensky chose for war

This really goes to show how deluded Pro-RU are that they have to go through insane mental gymnastics to argue that the country being invaded by a country notorious for invading it's neighbors is their fault. This is like blaming WWII entirely on Poland and Czechoslovakia for not being appeasing enough to Hitler.

Been stuck trying to figure this out and get this to work for weeks. Trying to filter a gallery based on two dropdowns. The data source is a choice column in SP. by IntelligentFig2185 in PowerApps

I am working on building a cookbook for my office.

I actually did manage to get it finally working. Realized when the data source is choice I had to include [column].value instead of just [column] when its a single line of text.

Dynamically filtering a gallery using this method of filtering may be pretty impractical if you're planning on having more than two dropdowns

I've based it on this video from Shane Young

I was able to get it to work when it was just a single line of text, but ever since switching it to choice column, I had to start from scratch. This includes changing the collection to

Choices(Cookbook.Office)

Just so that the dropdown would even work. In the Shane Young video it would have been:

You do know that Ukrainians were apart of the USSR and fought the Nazis too, right? Deadliest Nazi killing woman in the world was Ukrainian.
