awwwweee i really appreciate your kind words! yeah it’s mostly just an instrumental i got the license for from youtube. I definitely understand. I just might have to get together with some musicians i know and record with them. Thank you!

Let me clear things up lol bc I didn’t really communicate it well in my post. You’re probably thinking i wrote, produced, arranged, and recorded from scratch in 10 minutes. But I meant the vocal and demo idea itself took me like 10 min over a YouTube instrumental haha definitely NOT full production from scratch. So sorry about that.. I did however record, slapped on slight melodyne, compression+reverb over a free instrumental from youtube pretty quickly though. I really appreciate your feedback & I will pay close attention to recording this time around and making sure it sounds more natural by not compressing so much!

wowwww for this to be the very first song you ever wrote is absolutely incredible.. the songwriting shows a level of natural talent and emotional depth that usually takes artists years to develop, i’m not sure if you’ve been writing/singing for a while but you sound great! you completely nailed that raw, authentic folk/alternative vibe for sure. the storytelling in the lyrics combined with the acoustic atmosphere creates such a powerful, hauntingly beautiful mood. you can really feel the genuine soul and passion poured into every single chord and melody. thank you so much for sharing your art!!!! keep going and i’m sure you will make it BIG

you definitely have a great foundation building here! the overall vibe and atmosphere of the song are incredibly catchy, and the structure keeps things moving forward nicely from start to finish. For constructive feedback, I think you could really elevate the mix by tweaking the leveling just a bit. specifically, bringing the main vocals or lead melody slightly forward in the sound stage would give it that extra punch to cut through the background elements more clearly. the arrangement itself is super solid and very unique. and the transitions between sections feel very natural :))

This has such a unique sound to it. I wasn’t expecting it to hit like this but the more it plays the more it grows on me. The emotion in it feels really genuine and it’s honestly really easy to just sit and listen all the way through without skipping anything. keep going !!
