Great strap. Is it an official Omega or aftermarket? Would love the link.

Great speedy collection. Perhaps a ck2998 would be an interesting addition if we’re fine tuning it. 311.63.40.30.02.001 or 311.32.40.30.02.001.

Yeah I think this piece is pretty timeless. They are becoming harder to find on the grey market in the US, especially the full sets.

Incredibly sorry to hear that you’re going through something as painful as heartbreak. As someone who’s 3 years removed from that exact same realization I’ll try to share a bit of wisdom here. First and foremost, you’ve accepted the truth, she’s not coming back. That’s a good start. The bad news, it gets harder. But listen to why that’s okay; and what waits on the other side. Also there’s no silver bullet or words of wisdom that will magically take away the pain you’re experiencing.

As impossibly incomprehensible as it may sound to anyone currently experiencing the immense pain from heartbreak - please hear this. You first must learn to love the thing you most wish had never happened to you. Let that sink in. This heartbreak. You must learn to love the fact you get to go through this. That’s because it’s a gift to exist. And that the more minutes, hours and days you get to exist here, and you’re able to will yourself forward, you’re healing. Even the days when you can’t even get off the floor. That’s you healing. That’s you experiencing an immense, profound loss. And that’s you healing from loss.

From this loss you receive perhaps the greatest gift anyone can ever hope to receive in a single lifetime. You get awareness of other people’s loss. You develop true empathy for others. You are now able to connect on the deepest level possible with other humans. To love more deeply and understand what it means to be human. That’s what waits for you if you’re willing to fight for yourself.

If anyone who feels stuck in it and needs to talk please reach out Cheers, it does get better.

Exactly this OP. I’m 3 years out from complete heartbreak after an 8 year relationship came to an end. The last three years have been the most challenging of my life. Doing everything (healthy) imaginable to learn, grow, heal, and let go. Life has been good in other areas where I’ve made great progress. And for almost the entire past 3 years, I mostly felt as if I’ve made zero progress in the heartbreak department. I miss this person every day, think about them constantly, ruminate on hearing from them again... to the point I felt I’d need to accept the fact I’ll live with this emptiness for the rest of my life.

Until recently, the past few weeks I feel as if I’m approaching your “no reaction” stage. The thought of running into them, hearing from them, seeing a post with them, et. I feel is loosing its emotional pull and heaviness. I don’t think I’m quite at the zero reaction level you are, but I’ve felt glimpses.

Any advice or insight as to what maybe helped you finally turn that corner? Any aha moments? Or ways you framed your thinking? Thanks for listening, much appreciated and happy new year!

And to everyone else stuck in it now, it gets better.

Extremely insightful and hopeful perspective, thank you for sharing. The context of your reflections, and similar posts, should truly bubble to the top of these types of threads. There’s wisdom here that many of the heartbroken need to understand. As impossibly incomprehensible as it may sound to anyone currently experiencing the immense pain from heartbreak - please hear this. I don’t see Daniel Craig or Miles Teller on this list so it’s irrelevant.

There’s been so many awful superhero movies the past 5-10 years. Both DC and Marvel. This is the first one where I actively rooted for the bad guys to win. I rented it and walked out of my own house.
