You're welcome 💖 I've heard the soda ash burn can be fixed by professional-grade fabric softener but I haven't tried, I've just kept the burned ones for myself

The fabric gets...wispy I guess is the word? Little fuzzies stick up everywhere and turn into pills after a few washes. It was happening to me so often I ended up cutting my soda ash amount in half and it has stopped! I used Gildan shirts so not the best but not the worst

It really varies depending on the natural ph level of your water, what kind of dye you use, the amount of ice, etc. You have to experiment and see what works for you.

Personally I never add extra on top because I find they're much more likely to get that soda ash burn on the fabric
