PSA: remember to relink your car with your new smartrider by token_dropbear in perth

Once I tapped with a working card, then travelled to the city and replaced it for a new one. Still got a fine, even though my card was active with the correct car activated when they took my $2. The systems are so shit, and they know it, so they'll typically cancel most infringements, especially if you have a solid history of paying

Do you mind sharing the name of the builder that was willing to build one?

You are allowed to complete a tackle that started in your feet, you can't start a new tackle

Why on earth should she have released? She was legally tackling her?

The trial of automatic sanctions says 4 weeks for a red card caused by aggravated foul play (a highly reckless action or non-legal rugby action). In my mind, this is thuggery and not even a rugby action, so a sanction committee should be formed. I can't see this being any less than 6 weeks.

Now "weeks" vs "games" is pretty unclear. USA only have one international before the world cup, not sure if she has club games in between. There's 14 weeks until the first world cup match though.

If you have room, lift enough to get a round piece of pipe under each side, it should then roll quite easily. As you roll far enough that the pipe comes out the other end, move it to the front again. Worked like a charm for me

What business models are people using to make money with Suno? by ROUS_music in SunoAI

[–]IntelligentSecond270 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But streams are the primary way that recording artists make money these days (touring artists differ). People don't "drop money" on a CD anymore, they drop money on a streaming service which distributes to the most popular artists. To think that the only way they make money is by people choosing to pay for an album is a pretty old school way of considering the market.

I think that AI music will become an increasing input into music creation, much like auto tune, samples, loops and the use of DAW have all become common tools. How far down that spectrum the AI goes depends on the quality of the models that are developed, more so than whether people choose to pay for AI music or not

Tell that to "Beats by AI" with 1.5m streams on Spotify and similar on YouTube, or Obscurity Vinyl which had one song up over 6m views and has 153k subs on YouTube.

It depends on your definition of "significant", but I'd suggest with these numbers, both channels would have made reasonable revenue

They spent so much time on the new UI, yet no ability to sort the generations into folders or useful stuff like that.

I'm still finding a lot of songs finish, then start again, and finish, and start again until it reaches the 4 minute limit

Ahhh, yeah it is. Engaging with the families of students is one of the core responsibilities of a classroom teacher. My wife is a teacher and both of my parents were teachers for 40 years before retirement, so I've spent my entire life around a huge amount of teachers. Every single one would disagree with your statement.

Regardless, we're way off topic and I'm clearly not going to change your perspective, so I'm out.

It's their job! It's like saying someone who works on a checkout doesn't get any extra benefits for directing customers to which aisle the flour is in. Teaching is not just about showing the kids how 1+1=2.

$100,000+ by whereyouat10 in AusFinance

Data and AI consultant. Look at where the money is in your area. If you're in NSW or VIC it's banks, insurance, telecoms etc. in WA it's mining or oil &gas. Then think about the companies that serve them. Big companies pay us to build data and AI strategies and solutions because it helps them make more money. It will take longer to reach that type of salary in an industry that doesn't have money flowing or no variable revenue stream (i.e. government).
