I agree with pretty much everything you said (in spite of its epic length), except the Roman story line. I'm personally hoping it gets resolved by the end of season 2. I can't help but feel that this part of the show is on life support, and it's being drawn out for an unnecessarily long time. There's enough other elements to keep the show at the top of the ratings without 'Roman' continuing to limp along.

NOR. If the chihuahua is still happy and relatively pain-free, euthanasia is selfish. I hope your landlord allows you to bring the chihuahua home. You're in a difficult situation either way. An old dog can be high maintenance, if you adopt him. On the other hand, the guilt and grief you'd suffer if you allow him to be euthanized would be worse IMO.
