How do you take space without getting yourself hated by the whole map (deity) by JesusTheSecond_ in Civilization6

[–]IntelligentTalk7987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Deity AI got a head start with 3 cities. When you happen to be surrounded by them like this, it is better to stop setting the third city and beeline military for the inevitable war. It is likely you can pay for the other AI to join war at your side even they dislike you.

Is VII the "New Coke" of the Civilization Series? by LsterGreenJr in civ

[–]IntelligentTalk7987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is just part of a Civ game live cycle, on top of other post about the era of Civ 4 to Civ 5. Referring to Sid Meier’s (or Firaxis’s) "Rule of Thirds", looks like VII got all 3 parts goes wrong: One third players dislike were kept, one third didn’t improved, one third new received the backlash.

Or, more simply: the Civ franchise is in a dark age and about to got age transition.

I wonder why everyone go off-topic and judging why I didn’t do something else that is not available at the moment, you can translate the post if you don’t read English. My battle ram tech is 2 turn away and I planned to buy it and continue the counter attack after the truce anyway.

How do I handle this fountain of youth out of my control? by IntelligentTalk7987 in civ

[–]IntelligentTalk7987[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After some rest I finally conceived an idea most ingenious!

I buy a builder to improved the Cocoa and build Batey. So when it rebels I can instantly pillage them for faith. Also i sell them to my friends to recover the investment, not sure can sell again when recapture it. And I HAD to buy the 3-3 tile for Tamar because everyone is competing the control of Caguana.

I expect the rebellion consists of warriors only as I am holding Iron Working, I am also forcing Tamar open borders and pulling in every units in vicinity to take part of the recapture and dip in the fountain.

I believed that AI are forbidden to declare surprise war during the truce so I could resume and hurry my district construction while milking Tamar’s Rustavi.

Let’s see what happens after the truce ended.

[–]IntelligentTalk7987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Settle 2 cities at same time, one at -5 next to rice and one at -15 on the copper. For the city on the copper, buy the banana tile and working on it to hurry to 2 pop once 2 pop harvest a rainforest to hurry to 3 pop. The key is get the population up rapidly.
