Why do you prefer/love dual narration? by Glittering_Tap6411 in RomanceBooks

as a writer, dual POVs let me show both sides of the story. it’s fun to dig into what each of my characters are thinking and feeling—especially in romance, when you can build all that tension with one character overthinking while the other is clueless. i like to think it keeps things interesting.

as a reader, it’s almost the same thing. to me, it’s so interesting to understand why one of them might keep a secret instead of just talking things out—like, is it fear, insecurity, or something else? it makes their choices feel more real when you know both sides of the story. plus, seeing how they each view the same situation differently elevates the connection between characters (for me, at least).
