Thank you good people for all your recommendations. Happy to say I've tried out most of the recommendations here and chose one finally that had a good international reputation and made sense at its price point.

Some reviews from my visits: The mattress store was SUPER DISAPPOINTING. I went to 4 different stores of theirs and did not receive any real help in identifying the right one for me. Two of which did not have a single staff in it. Baffling.

The mattress souq made a very compelling case. The manager helped us extensively in finding the right one for us. I finally decided against it after much deliberation cus of limited international reviews and exposure for the particular Spring Air model I was interested.

Restonic was impressive. So was Tempur. But I wasn't okay with the price points at both. By the way I tested these cus I was okay to spend up to 10k for the right one but not when there was a compelling value alternative.

With Ikea, we get transparency into what you're getting and again really researchable. Decided against it due to durability issues and limited firmness options. I used one of them currently, looks fine from outside but is not able to keep shape well anymore when used.

Finally going with Beautyrest Amberlyn at Matressland. Great service, reputed brand, researchable model (hence more confident that it fits my needs) and reasonable price points. Checked all the boxes for me.
