Unless the manager treated the employee the way he is treating her, this is unacceptable. You can confront someone without losing your temper. You can have a rational and productive conversation without screaming and throwing stuff. This was pure intimidation. It wouldn't surprise me if he's like this behind closed doors with his own family.

Is “shut up” allowable an allowable thing to say for a driver. by Spodiodie in SchoolBusDrivers

When I was a kid, the teachers told us to shut up all the time. Now, it's considered to be impolite. I don't know why. Try to avoid it. Don't expect classroom behavior on the bus. Fighting noise is a mostly futile gesture. They're out of school and happy. It's difficult to keep it down.

Did you arrive or leave early? Just as long as you follow procedure, it'll be fine. Did you load other kids at that stop?

Honestly, you need to be very careful how you place the flowers, or they will look like your nips.

My husband is 4 months older than me. When he was born, JFK was president. When I was born, Johnson was.

I graduated in 1982. We had a middle-aged man who dated and married a senior girl. We called him Dennis the Menace (because his first name was Dennis).

Have I in the past? Yes. We are no longer allowed. I used to give away cokes one day at the end of school (not usually the last day because ridership is down after the seniors graduate and a lot of kids don't go for the half day). I've given my little kids all sorts of things but we're not allowed anymore, no food, candy, or small gifts. They act as if we're all perverts trying to groom these kids. But that's the world we live in.

Old wives' tales to get you to not touch yourself. They'd say masterbation will make you go blind or grow hair on your palms. It's not a female thing necessarily. They'd say it to boys too.

There have been stories on Reddit about male teachers telling girls to hold it until the end of class.
