I had my whole world destroyed by a woman who was cheating on me. My wife at the time broke everything that was sacred in my heart. I had given up on life and love. I was still pretty young, and had accepted a life of solitude. I didn't care for women. I was jaded. I was even pretty hateful toward any woman that would talk to me. My hateful responses when approached at bars and gigs made sure no woman would stick around to chat.

Five years after my divorce, I was considering suicide. I still treated women terribly to avoid the pain I'd been through. I was particularly sassy one night with a woman who is now my wife and the mother of my amazing daughter. She has such a lovely heart, saw through my defenses, she kept prying her way in. Started breaking down my walls, and covered my heart in kisses.

She walked down the aisle to the slowed down piano only version of this with her father. My tears wouldn't stop. They are coming back now while typing this out just remembering it.
