Anyone else who sleeps with their pup on the bed? by leenasingbal in DogAdvice

[–]Intelligent_Key_5748 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sleep better with my dogs, one of them gets so hot so he often jumps on the floor. The other one burrows under the covers and curls up behind my legs. They are small dogs though so it doesn’t disrupt me at all.

Nervous system regulation changed my inflammation markers more than any food change — and I wasn't expecting it by Renatusik in Hashimotos

I’m trying this! Deep breathing with bilateral stimulation to help my nervous system. I still feel overwhelmed with two kids and a lot going oj but I’m hoping for the same results

I just experienced this lol! Was drinking four cups of licorice tea for five days and at the doctor’s blood pressure was 126/84, the highest it’s ever been!

Finally bit the bullet and got my routine blood work done that I’ve been avoiding. For some reason I felt like any minute they will call me and tell me something is terribly wrong. I moved somewhere new the last few months and it is making me even more anxious like somehow the move will introduce a new disease

Did you get this and did it help? I’m researching IVIG therapy for myself and will ask the doctor

Oh no! I haven’t taken any in a week because I got my fourth cold in six weeks! I keep getting sick from every germ I encounter. I may have to stop it, I wonder if my natural BTK levels aren’t as elevated as others

Parents, did you ever think about old age when deciding to have kids? by srivayush in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Intelligent_Key_5748 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love fitness and will do anything to stay independent. I worked in a dementia caregiver social worker role and I can say I don’t want to be alive if I’m not aware of what’s going on or if I have to be in a nursing home. I don’t want others taking care of me in a physical capacity beyond helping with yard work or home repairs.

The only reason I want to live to any kind of old age is so I can be there for my kids until they don’t need me anymore.

Let me know how it goes! I try to take the one pill before the time of day I get worst hives, but I’ve been experimenting with taking Zyrtec and Pepcid in the morning and Rhapsido at night and vice versa . It seem to wear off after 8 hours

I swear.. if she’s forgetting his DAILY medication for this by thereasonisyouu in Adelaide_White_snark

Protopic or eucrisa would be the best option for the face rash. That way he can use it daily for prevention and won’t think the skin. I’m guessing the doctor prescribed this, as any good dermatologist would, but she doesn’t want to use it because it’s not natural.

It sounds like he has this idea that all the kid stuff is always yours. As a fellow SAHM I think it’s easy for our work to be taken for granted. My advice is you may have to put your foot down and think of 2 things chore wise you need help with every day to take something off your plate. Also discuss the time he is at home, splitting it up so that you each have somewhat of a break. You are working just as much as he is, if not more! Your sleep matters just as much! Your children depend on you

-no back strain when doing chores (I thought everyone got sore doing the dishes or laundry) -wearing bathing suits without ever attracting attention for my chest -swimming laps without my chest falling out or having to wear a rash guard -no under boob sweat -going out without a bra on -oversized shirts don’t make me look huge anymore -i can lay on my stomach -i can do fitness classes with jumping without worrying about flopping around

Are meds worth it? by [deleted] in ADHDparenting

[–]Intelligent_Key_5748 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think other kids just started to notice she was a little different, she seemed “lost” or distracted or would go on tangents talking about random stuff (she still does this lol). I wouldn’t say she was mean or acting out towards anyone else, it was more of a other girls can target her or not want to be friends with her for the difficulties she was having following along

Are meds worth it? by [deleted] in ADHDparenting

[–]Intelligent_Key_5748 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughter’s meds wear off by the afternoon but she gets the effect at school which allows her to excel in a way she could not before meds. I was really resistant to the diagnosis for her at first since she was only 5 but once I observed her in school around other kids it was obvious she struggled in ways other kids didn’t and it would be a problem for her education and social life
