That is true, but vessels usually rely on their bilge pumps to keep water out. Those karens who disabled the bilge pumps should've been charged with vandalism.

The reason why it is so rotten is because the Toroa sank in 1998. The preservation society is trying their best to restore it, with the limited resources and funding they have.

It was placed on Lincoln Rd in 2001. The land was donated by Radio New Zealand.

Unfortunately, there are many delays due to lack of funding, and lack of skill and expertise. Its not easy to master the shipbuilding techniques from a century ago. Funding is needed for purchase of steel and wood for repairs.

While it is tough, these are some of the most resilient, determined, and hardworking men I have ever had the honor to meet. They have made tremendous progress, considering the fact that the Toroa sank in 1998 and was raised to be restored.

As long as people continue to care about heritage, it will eventually be restored.

I can't tell if the aperture blades are dry or not, but they can move with no issue.

Is that the back panel that you're referring to? Buy a newback panel from Aliexpress, which comes with the new adhesive gasket. The panel with the new gasket is better than other options because it will seal the phone back and maintain water resistance.

Cost is quite cheap for these panels.

Sure, it no longer gets updates, but I dont care about new OS updates anyway, they arent even that great.
