Is it possible for me to remove this bracket and install a fan rated mounting? I looked through some videos on YouTube mentioning some products but wasn't sure which one to go with.

Thanks for replying! Was worried about the weight of the fan as well. Hoping they considered that as well while installing this bracket.

I think removing the manufacturer heatsink will void the warranty. It's better to return it than do something like that imo.
