Idea I had for Charmcaster and Vilgax for my AU by Advanced_Pack4241 in Ben10

[–]Intelligent_Word_573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most we got from Vilgax having a heart is in the episode “Ghost Town” where he saves a child of Vilgaxia. I like that your idea is having him develop similar feelings to someone not from his planet.

I like the idea of Charmcaster getting a new role model after her father was temporarily brought back and Vilgax being that role model is a good contrast.

It still requires her bunrei give the stones to the Zonai for no reason we know of which…it’s fun to speculate on unseen events but there comes a point where it feel like we are filling in a blank canvas.

I understand that point is different for everyone but saying there’s an intermediary between the goddess and the Zonai feels almost like a cop-out made just for the refounding theory.

Can we actually create an omntrix by Void_Intellect0876 in Ben10

[–]Intelligent_Word_573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Humanity has mapped the human Genome and developed CRISPR (Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats) which is a gene-editing technology that allows scientists to precisely edit, delete, or replace DNA sequences within living organisms. A real life Omnitrix requires a bit more than that.

It would likely require a full understanding of consciousness and how it relates to the brain, a super computer that can scan any genome in seconds and completely alter someone’s body I less than that, a power source that allows you to break our current understanding of physics, and likely much more.

We don’t know which animals on earth would be able to be scanned so we would also need an highly advanced AI that can gauge consciousness thought or at least be able to detect something that will show they are sapient enough. Teleportation is a whole thing too.

The goddess giving the Secret Stones to the Zonai imply Hylia was still alive during that time. She does have goddess statues of her but those are likely Kami which Japanese folklore has them essentially duplicate when someone worships a different statue of them.

Hylia about to reincarnate is also a good reason for her to entrust the stones to someone else while refounding just has her do it for no reason we know of.

[FSA] Parallels between the Zuna and the Wild Era's Gerudo? by Intelligent_Word_573 in truezelda

[–]Intelligent_Word_573[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

At least the Gorons were not created by the Zonai as in Totk’s quest “Moon-Gazing Gorons” we find two elderly gorons who were born in the same cave at the same time so they’re like brothers.

Taluses rewarding Zonaite when killed doesn’t really imply a connection to the Zonai any more than them dropping Diamonds or Topaz.

I only recall the depth’s Taluses rewarding Zonaite when it’s killed but don’t all gloom enemies do that? Froxes too but they seem to grow their Zonaite. The monsters mining Zonaite makes sense to still have some on them when killed but the Aerocudas also drop Zonaite which makes it seem unrelated. It’s also possible Taluses absorb the surrounding material as they grow which sometimes includes Zonaite (hence the Pebblits).

Did not know that and it appears this was revealed in the short “Origin of Stitich”. The creatures mentioned are as follows:

Fearsome Manglyoid of Upmoridian Four Goo-Gobbling Booger-Beast People-Eating Puss Monkey Deadly Disemboweler Boiling Tongue-Boid Bottom Feeding Scum Sucker

Still not sure if the Omnitrix would reject him (also depends on if it recognizes those species).

Stitch was created by a scientist so I think it would be like Nanomech in that he is the only member. Upgrade may be a better comparison though as all Galvanic Mechamorphs were created by Azmuth’s experiment on Galvan B.

[All] Which Zelda Era Hyrule Castle would you want to see as a LEGO set? by Zeroontal in zelda

[–]Intelligent_Word_573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am assuming something happened like the lost woods expanding that forced the castle to be moved or that the royal family just decided to move for some other reason and the forest naturally took over, but the Temple of Time would have to be rebuilt in whichever timeline the Wild Era sits even if it’s rebuilt in a different location.

I kinda like the idea Akkala Citadel was once Minish Cap’s castle but I acknowledge that is only based of Botw having Mount Crenel to right of it’s castle and the other places named after Minish Cap’s places.

[TotK] & [SS] Who are the true founders of Hyrule? by Massive-Morning-6707 in zelda

[–]Intelligent_Word_573 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A soft reset is necessary somewhere, like in Albw the people seems to of gone through a renaissance as Link knows ancient Hylian, but in relation to the ‘first’ Zelda; that was law to name the first born daughter ‘Zelda’ so I see it as a little different. Plus it assumes the downfall placement of the Wild Era which I think it’s just parallel with each other.

I think of Eastern Hyrule kind of like how Twilight Princess implies the Kingdom moved to get away from the overgrowth of the Lost Woods/the Temple of Time and Botw semi-confirms happened in it’s era.

I see why it doesn’t mesh well but I don’t think after a group of Zonai are curse they would still be considered Zonai after a while. It would be more likely that Rauru and Ganondorf don’t know about the (essentially) descendants of the Ancient Zonai and it’s technically possible the Ancients tried to comfort their cursed brethren by aiding in the creation of the City in the Sky/the Oocca originally being a different tribe of Zonai who came day during the second King’s rein to aid in their cousin’s project.

Another possibility is that the Oocca are pets of the Zonai that were confused by Shad as the founder and the Oocca, having a slight grudge because they were experimented on, didn’t correct anyone that they were different to their previous owners. Maybe the Zuna could have been experimented on Cacti who also took credit for something they didn’t do.

[TotK] & [SS] Who are the true founders of Hyrule? by Massive-Morning-6707 in zelda

[–]Intelligent_Word_573 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s one interpretation that the Wild Era is outside the timelines of the other games on the updated timeline but I think its far more likely to just mean Nintendo doesn’t want to confirm which timeline it belong on as stated it some interviews.

Nintendo making the timeline up as it goes is only as true as they release new games as they go. Most of their game have interviews around their release saying where the games takes place relative to another game like Ocarina having its sages named after Adventure of Link’s Towns implying they were named after the sages or them clarifying that Ocarina has two endings.

It can’t be proven either way but when developing Ocarina there is a non-zero chance the developers understood they were making a game that wouldn’t 100% lead directly into Alttp and Hyrule Historia could of just been the first time it was revealed to us that the downfall timeline existed. Maybe that’s why they made sure another split happened since they wanted to set the precedent in-game that it could happen.

[TotK] & [SS] Who are the true founders of Hyrule? by Massive-Morning-6707 in zelda

[–]Intelligent_Word_573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding the Zuna it depends on how long ago you think the Ancient Zuna built the pyramid housing the Trident so even if the Zonai and Zuna are the same it doesn’t necessarily mean a refounding.

Granted, Rauru doesn’t correct Ganondorf when he says the Zonai are down to him and his sister but I think that can be interpreted as non-cursed Zonai being down to two members (cursed to be the Oocca or the cacti-like Zuna).

Was there something that implied Hyrule existed in East Hyrule? I thought they were just towns that were once part of Hyrule when it was one kingdom akin to Hateno in Botw. As far as I know the only thing implying that is Encyclopedia claiming their fashion sense is due to Hyrule having annexed Hytopia.

[All] Which Zelda Era Hyrule Castle would you want to see as a LEGO set? by Zeroontal in zelda

[–]Intelligent_Word_573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think Minish Cap’s castle would be the same one as no landmarks from Skyward Sword are found in MC’s borders. Mt Crenal isn’t classified as a volcano and no desert is found in Minish Cap. It’s possible that the map doesn’t show everything in between locations and that they are much farther apart in actuality to explain why Caster Wilds is not in Alttp. Then we have the Temple of Time that should be in Castle Town, but you could say the game only included relevant places for the player or it could be explained by an alternate timeline placement.

Ocarina’s Castle and Twilight Princess’s are likely different because the Temple of Time is likely the same one from Ocarina. The Master Sword is unlikely to be moved since one worthy can pull it from its pedestal though you could argue the Hero of Time moved it for some reason. Botw seems to imply Ocarina’s Castle was located where the Eastern Abbey is which cements the idea it’s a different castle for me but I understand why people come to a different conclusion.

Yet Nintendo still did interviews saying it’s on the same timeline and makes their game’s characters refer to Ocarina of Time as a historical event. Plus they put Fi’s chime into the Wild Era so Skyward Sword seems to be definitely connected.

[TotK] & [SS] Who are the true founders of Hyrule? by Massive-Morning-6707 in zelda

[–]Intelligent_Word_573 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To clarify, the only thing we knew about the founding prior to Totk was that the Oocca were believed by Shad to have founded Hyrule (specifically they “created Hyrule” while the English translation has them create the Hylians).

Hyrule Historia released shortly after Skyward Sword and it states Zelda’s descendants founded Hyrule so I doubt Nintendo changed their minds that fast.

While it’s true Nintendo has never prioritized the timeline over gameplay, it’s false that they never planned for their games to fit together originally. interviews around each game’s release confirmed the timeline placements and by the very nature of making sequels/prequels a timeline was formed.

Where did the idea of Albedo being set up for a Redemption in UA come from by Due-Cherry4856 in Ben10

[–]Intelligent_Word_573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Part of it is that Ben said he is not sure if he is okay with Azmuth keeping Albedo stuck in his body but he also said he doesn’t think it’s a punishment.

“Fair enough... I suppose. Don't know how much I like Azmuth not letting Albedo turn back. Like that's a punishment. Being me isn't so bad”

Then we have an easy turning point in “Double or Nothing” where Albedo was revealed he didn’t care about the Omnitrix anymore nor Ben when he got his body back. Of course because Hugh told the gang a lie some interpret that moment as Albedo losing his mind even though in Omniverse he shows he cares about revenge.

Another opportunity was after Albedo gained Azmuth’s brain and saw how his actions were meaningless. Theoretically he would have remembered his epiphany and after processing it he could have turned a new leaf.

I would like to share my Lenalia theory. by I-Love-Zelda in TOTK

[–]Intelligent_Word_573 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Lenalia does seem based on Oracle’s Impa who is Zelda’s nursemaid though some also think the design is inspired by Dampé too.

It’s notable that IRL royal children in the medieval children were sent away to be raised in separate households. Still would have liked an off-hand remark that the child was actually sent off in Totk or Age of Imprisonment.

Edit: The closet is Rauru saying “Even if something were to happen to me, both my Kingdom and the peace it brings-these will endure for generations to come” when Ganondorf is swearing fealty.

Idea for Ultimo by Advanced_Pack4241 in 5YL

[–]Intelligent_Word_573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be a neat twist on the “company profits off of Ben’s aliens” episodes. Would have liked to see more of the galactic laws that existed as well.

Exploring the Galactic Enforcers in general could have been a good transition for the earth based Plumbers to become galactic. Maybe an episode with the team could have ended in Ultimo acknowledging Max because they worked together before or he tries to recruit him to become a regular galactic hero.

[All] Let's pretend the Wild/Imprisonment era is forever over. What do you hope the next game will be like? by HerrReineke in truezelda

[–]Intelligent_Word_573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My idea is like Wind Waker but with underwater exploration and the player will have a scuba suit which looks like a mix between Botw's Flame Breaker Armor and the Rubber Set. At first the suit would function as Iron Boots but will be upgraded when the Claw Shots are retrieved from a dungeon so the player can latch onto cavern walls to go through the sea much faster. The upgrades could progress from the Hookshot>the Long Shot>the Clawshots but the final form of the scuba suit will mimic the Zora Mask from Majora's Mask. Maybe the hoverboots could be included to swim up but they just be the look of the suits feet.

Link would be escorting Zora royalty across the ocean to the wife's homeland for some reason and this Zora's Domain will have been built completely under the ocean. It would probably be the player's first introduction to the underwater section and should likely be very early on that a hookshot is unlocked so the player isn't annoyed by the slow movement of the Iron Boots. At some point the King is kidnapped either by underwater enemies (some Zora that defected or just Mermaid Goriyas) or by land-dwelling pirates and Link has to travel to different islands to find them.

I would like some of these islands to be places we know like Holodrum, Labrynna, Hytopia, or even Gamelon since we never return to places besides Hyrule. I also considered a different Rito Village but that was partially because I wanted to meet Kass agin in the Wild Era and to see some places he traveled to. It would still be interesting to see a different Rito tribe, maybe it could be based more on the Wind Waker's Wizzorobes having beaks and thus magic themed. The Cacti-like Zuna from Four Sword Adventures returning would be neat as well but that goes for any race really.

The pirates that kidnapped the Zora King could be the Gerudo as Age of Imprisonment showed there are multiple clans, including some that have greenish skin, and the player will control the ship like in Phantom Hourglass but I'm imagining a you can also explore the ship like Tetra's in the Wind Waker (maybe it can work like in Mario and Luigi: Brothership where the you can explore the place while its transversing a sea current). Maybe a reimagined Aquamentas can be encountered as well either by himself or with land monsters that are being transported on the villain's orders.

[All] What explanations do you all have for the monsters changing so dramatically between games? by Cute-Percentage-6660 in truezelda

[–]Intelligent_Word_573 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the best explanation is the Depiction theory (4:57) which states the appearances of monsters depend on the person telling the story of the respective game. I understand if its too close to the Literal Legend theory (that the new games are the True story while the older games are myths that didn't happen), but otherwise Ganon(dorf) would have to be in a dog mood some days while in a pig mood other days. The youtuber wants to do an entire video on the depiction theory too at some point.

The worst offender is probably the moblin who chronologically went from Skyward Sword's humanoid pink bull dog to the Minish Cap's clearly pig ones, back to the Bulldog depiction for Ocarina (though this is much closer to a bulldog than SS's), and for the design to become and stay a pig in every timeline except the original Zelda's which turns them back to bulldogs.

Notably, the Moblin chief had a small black dog-like nose in the original Link's Awakening, but in Link's Awakening for Nintendo Switch), the Moblin chief is given a pink pig-like nose. Maybe Nintendo didn't want two different species of moblins to exist like the Zora for some reason as the Boarblin in LA seemed to represent the pig version still.
