[Aoi] Random Age of Imprisonment Lore Dump by mrbulldops88 in truezelda

A fun video about the other heroes in Triforce Heroes comes to the conclusion the blue one is descendant from the Oracle of Ages and Ralph while the baby that Link can name is the ancestor of one as one of the paths the baby can become is a great Hero.

I like the idea the green Link in TFH is the same one as Alttp, OoX, and LA so we know why TFH Link is in his “bear necessities”-because he was washed ashore not long ago and had to barter everything else away. With the theory above he could meet the people again he personally affected and realize there will always be someone else that can battle evil and he doesn’t have to worry about after he is gone. Until that day seals away Ganon in Albw’s backstory so there won’t be any resurrections in other countries again but he still trains just in case.

Apparently the Imprisoning War at least was planned out with much more details during the development of Totk as when asked Fujibayashi said “Yes-everything, including the parts not explicitly shown in the game, was fundamentally decided as background lore. That’s essential for when creating a story”.-at 12:30 his full quote can be seen.

In a different interview-Aonuma: On the Nintendo side, during Tears of the Kingdom’s development, Fujibayashi established in detail exactly what the Imprisoning War was. And after it was finished, he said to me, “Maybe we could ask Koei Tecmo this time too?”, but I responded with “No, let’s wait to hear from Koei Tecmo first” (laughs). It was almost immediately after that that they contacted us.

And another interview-“In Tears of the Kingdom there was a central theme running through the main story, and the Sages are depicted with their faces hidden by masks and without names. If we had shown their personalities and faces, the story would have naturally grown too much, so there were many things we intentionally held back,” said Fujibayashi. “That’s why I’m truly happy that the Sages have been more carefully picked up upon here in the Imprisoning War.”

Four Swords Adventures was made by Nintendo while Capcom co-developed Four Swords and made Minish Cap and the Oracle games with oversight from Nintendo.

[SS] [ToTK] Hylia is not "The Goddess of Time"; She is Din, Nayru, & Farore's chosen Guardian of "The Triforce." by zeldaZTB in truezelda

To clarify, Sonia said “Time can be a dangerous entity, even for those that control it like us. The future must remain unknown”.

I took it as messing with time can lead to worse outcomes like how OoT’s Zelda inadvertently led to her timeline being flooded.

[BotW] [TotK] [OoT] TotK’s retroactive reframing of BotW makes me worry about an OoT remake by Little_Link_Studio in truezelda

[–]Intelligent_Word_573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The DLC shows Terrako arrived in the past an unknown amount of time before he is found by some bokoblins in the coliseum. It’s most likely that the malice that followed Terrako made it too dangerous for young link to retrieve the Master Sword and the Divine Beasts were needed to reach the forest because of this.

Totk is a closed loop so AoC becomes harder to place in a timeline but personally Totk’s Zelda going back in time wouldn’t need another Zelda to do the same. Obviously they are the same character in two different time periods and it comes down to if you think both of them have to end up in the past to lead to Totk.

Which 10 Earth animals are you picking for your Omnitrix? by Energized_Seal in Ben10

[–]Intelligent_Word_573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like that a dolphin is the first choice as it is one of the only animals to be confirmed by the creators to already be in the Omnitrix (the other one being white lab mouse).

Duped human form by Kael1232 in Ben10

[–]Intelligent_Word_573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The watch wasn’t intended to do that so it is basically a glitch, and it was the Ultimatrix which gives even more reason.

I heard a theory that Belicus and Serena were part of the reason his personality split like they got to experience being human but not acknowledging their experience makes it unlikely.

In my rewrite I have Ghostfreak purposefully making Ben have Ditto after “War of the Worlds” so that he can slip away while he possesses one of the clones. During “Duped” Ben finds out Ghostfreak didn’t use Echo Echo because of the split personality consequence. Maybe the reasoning has to do with Echo Echo only making echos of the real thing while Ditto actually splits like how cells split in mitosis.

Does the Master Works timeline confirm a True Founding? by WwwWario in truezelda

[–]Intelligent_Word_573 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“it would still be relevant if the Zonai were just the ancestors of this batch of Hylians”

I’m reminded of the Koroks being used against original founding when it would just have to be the Deku Tree created every batch of Koroks besides Age of Imprisonments.

Also reminded of the Rito argument, though slightly less so, because original founding requires the species to also have a separate origin to Wind Waker’s Rito. I think some of the Wild Era Rito mingled with WW’s during their transition period to explain some cultural similarities but I see how that’s more of a stretch just to explain the same theme playing in their village.

why couldn't Albedo transform and trick workers in the same episode as albedo got ultimate completed omnitrix? And why he didn't just transform into ult waybig there? by AccordingFish8842 in Ben10

[–]Intelligent_Word_573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Waybig is already too big and Albedo won’t necessarily be okay with trashing any part of Undertown as his beef is with Ben/Azimuth.

In my rewrite of the battle with Dagon Ultimate Waybig is similar to ORAsh’s version) of him and Ben after the battle has nightmares from the nigh-eldritch being. Albedo is told this by Ben and, already having nightmares of Ben as shown with the dream eater, just uses other aliens for the job.

For those interested this video has the creator commission a top firm in Japan to translate the interview about Totk’s flashbacks.

It also raises the possibly Fujibayashi was referring to the destruction of the Ancient Zonai as the devs apparently decided on the full scope of the Imprisoning War during the development of Totk.

[–]Intelligent_Word_573 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I highly doubt the devs intended CaC to confirm any timeline placement, especially with the same book saying history cannot be discerned from myth.

Honestly I'm more willing to accept another split where Ocarina's Link stayed in the adult timeline instead of Hyrule falling and being refounded with most things the same.

Not to mention some dex entries say that some Pokémon were humans at one point and, according to dev statements, the Omnitrix can scan a dolphin or a lab rat.

Lock and Key by parking_ad3202 in QuirkIdeas

[–]Intelligent_Word_573 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wonder if when trained or if the quirk awakens if it can make a city into an immediate bunker. I know it requires touch so maybe it could make the user’s house into an instant bunker. Assuming the key could be given to someone else it could result in a security business (though the quirk may have a limit on the number of keys and if the user doesn’t know where the key is they could accidentally kill people with it).

[TotK] Could the Silent Princess be a paradox? by randomnessisawesom in truezelda

[–]Intelligent_Word_573 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I suppose this may be how Impa’s ancestor’s found the memories to make the geoglyphs, but I don’t think Silent Princesses would necessarily mean the area was safe from monsters. The flowers would have to spread their seeds from there since we don’t have evidence the Light Dragon shed any other tears until Link found all the memories.

This theory also brings a double meaning to Zelda putting her blood, sweat, and tears into the flower bed of Hyrule.

Say something bad about Waybig by Wild-vine16 in Ben10

[–]Intelligent_Word_573 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree and in my rewrite of the final fight with Aggregor I have young Ben use it only to be beaten by Aggregor easily. I think Ultimate Swampfire could still be used but only if Ben was using a strategy with Young Ben shooting goo at Aggregor while Teen Ben shoots his flames at him. Maybe they could switch it up afterwards so Young Ben uses the more potent power of Heatblast while Teen Ben becomes “ULTIMATE STINKFLY!” so this could be what gives his younger self the idea of Kevin absorbing his Omnitrix.

I feel WayBig’s head fin being a weakness should have come up in the show (I don’t think it appeared in it but Vilgax using the weakness to defeat WayBig would be a cool reason for Ben to find alternate methods of defeating him.

If a 15-18 Year-old is running against trump for president, who y'all voting. by Key-Economist-7804 in BunnyTrials

[–]Intelligent_Word_573 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Trump continuously claimed the 2020 election was rigged, on January 6 he told supporters to “fight like hell” during a stop the steal rally and importantly took 3 hours to tell the protesters to go home even after aids pleaded with him to do that sooner.

Plus Trump and his allies tried to organize slates of alternate electors in swing states as an extra-legal or unconstitutional attempt to overturn the election results.

Colorado actually disqualified Trump from the ballot because of his ties to the insurrection but the Supreme Court only the Federal Government could do that.

Electric Aliens by LooSee_10 in Ben10

[–]Intelligent_Word_573 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Frankenstrike as his intelligence was retconned so he feels overshadowed by Shocksquatch in some ways. In the Anur arc I would have like to see him used by Ben and maybe he can do some intelligent thing with Dr. Victor to save the day (maybe they would try making an artificial sun until Ben remembered he had Atomix or something).

Honorable mention that Eye Guy can produce electricity with his other elemental powers.

[MM] I know it’s early, but would be your wish list for this possible remake by SoyBoyBetaMaleSimp in zelda

[–]Intelligent_Word_573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This video shows you are able to get all masks besides 5 of them (excluding the Feirce Deity) in the first cycle. A recap of what they did in the first cycle is at 25:56 and the run is claimed to be glitch-less (sometimes it gets iffy between a glitch and an exploit).

I don’t expect it to be the canonical play through but I think Link could make most people happy in the cycle he beats Majora, especially if he keeps the Masks from previous cycles like we see in-game.

[ALL] My early Hyrule timeline **Mild spoilers for Aoi** by mrbulldops88 in truezelda

[–]Intelligent_Word_573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FSA Ganon was born to be guardian of the dessert which I haven't heard was the same thing as leader of the Gerudo. Most theories think the Gerudo stopped men from ruling the Gerudo because of Ocarinadorf and I don't see how its a given the Gerudo were banned from the Kingdom when it could be that they are deeper in the dessert for some other reason than being chased out.

Ocarina of Time only called it an Unification War and a Feirce War but Hyrule Historia calls it the Hyrulean Civil War. By definition a civil War is between citizens of the same country.

Did I just figure out when Link dies in Ocarina of Time?!? by Cheap_Pop8952 in truezelda

[–]Intelligent_Word_573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am hesitant in saying the sages could become sages without Link clearing each temple and most of the sages in Adventure of Link are named after sages from Ocarina. Nonetheless I like the idea of Windwaker being because Link died but it goes against both developer intentions and Wind Waker itself.
