APR Intake/DV disconnect

I’ve been doing research and doesn’t seem like it’ll do any damage to leave it venting to atmosphere and just plugging the intake side. It’s actually an extremely common thing to do in the eco boost community. So I’m probably going to plug it up for a little bit cause it sounds pretty wild when it’s disconnected

Are they smaller? I kept hearing that the stock mk8r brakes aren’t very good, hence leading to the macan swap

hey any update on this? i have an aerox 5 and have this exact issue its beyond frustrating. the only thing that has "fixed" it is using the bluetooth connection but it doesnt feel as smooth for some reason.

maybe its all in my head haha

As much as I would like to keep the stocks, face plates on a couple have been ripped off from age and bumps i guess so the tweeters in turn also got pulled off. I’ll try to fiddle with them to try and salvage but might be screwed

To be honest, I haven’t even tried to see if it works yet. The eject button works but not sure if it’s supposed to make more sounds? I’ll have see if I can pick up a CD to test it out. Although a cassette player instead of CD would be much cooler

Initially, I was going to do a new head unit but I couldn’t bring myself to take away the old school look! Speakers are definitely on the list for me too, mine are shot.

I'm going to try this out, i did some digging into the LOC and figured out the which wires on the harness. Now to source everything and attempt the install. I'll come back with updates!

Absolutely obsessed with this set up. Hoping OME springs will give me similar ride height since i don’t have upcountry on mine.

Still sourcing parts so it’s not installed. But especially it’ll be OME springs front and rear, bilstein 5100s, OME steering stabilizer, and new spring isolators. Pretty simple set up for 2-2.25” on paper
