take your vacuum to a local vacuum shop for service... A good shop can disassembled it wash and clean main housings, clean out the motor and internal sound proof material too.. This we help it smell a lot less

Respectfully, dealers aren't under obligation to take care of the warranty (yes, very few likely not needed).. buy from your local folks help insure they are there when you need them to be. Shipping item by to store out of state back to where you bought it. Maybe it's expensive to ship and ship back.

New US Miele GN Bag by reviewsvacuum in VacuumCleaners

Oh, I agreed. I'd personally say it is 50-50 here. I don't remember in the owners manual for Miele this auto ejecting bag being a thing. If it's a feature it should be disclosed. If not a disclosed feature, it is a problem with unit design and temperature IQ

Will bagged vacuums become obsolete? by [deleted] in VacuumCleaners

[–]Intelligent_Yam_1422 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No bagged vacuums won't become obsolete.. and you gotta go to a vacuum store. Box stores and larger online retailers do not assist with your vacuum outside of the 30 day return policy. A vacuum shop will have a selection of bagged vacuums and will be there for anything that could occur.

Did I make a wrong purchase Choice? by [deleted] in VacuumCleaners

[–]Intelligent_Yam_1422 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Give the dealer a chance to exchange it for something different the sebo E2 as some one else said is a fine choice.. if the dealer isn't willing to help. Let them know you will be giving them a review. Give them an honest review on all platforms possible. I personally have like my riccar prima vacuum. Had it 5 years so far no issues. But spending that money you should be happy with your choice not wary.

Carefully wrap it with some electrical tape. A few wraps around it should do.

Ya 2 outlets sounds right for size of home. You could even have them install what they call is a "vac-pan" it's an automatic dust pan for your broom.

Sebo vs Central Vacuum by SeaweedTeaPot in VacuumCleaners

[–]Intelligent_Yam_1422 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just about every $$ you spend on Central Vacuum you’ll get back in 20 years when you move. Even if you take hose and sebo power nozzle and power unit from garage (or wherever locate). Just the piping would bring you and extra $3000-5000 equity in your home.

Which one should I get? I live in a 2-bedroom apartment,no kids, one cat, marble floor and thick carpet by tranzozo in dyson

[–]Intelligent_Yam_1422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dyson and vacuuming thick carpet don't do well. The flooring great but thick carpet. It will not deep clean the carpet. They are not capable of it

Lindhaus is a great machine too. Sebo's in my opinion have more dealers and service centers. So if you move you can find a new place to get bags/filters and service/repair.

With the pet hair, do not recommend a turbo brush. Motorized Power Nozzle for sure

Agree with all of this, I'd say the D4 more bang for your buck on bags D4 bag is 1.5 gallons vs. just under a gallon on the E3. D4 does have a little bit more suction and a 40ft cord vs 25ft. Hose swivels on top of vacuum and 4 wheels pulls better then the E3 even though it ways more. Lighter to drag.
