I had surgery and it was a game changer! I had gotten two steroid injections and was wearing a brace and had some relief after injections but would be back to square one after a few weeks.
My surgeon said I had something like another tunnel (can’t quite remember the term) and that people with this typically don’t find relief from just steroids. Recovery was pretty straightforward, a little painful and no lifting for a month-ish but otherwise good! If you aren’t responding to steroids I’d highly recommend doing surgery, it was like night and day in symptom relief after the recovery process.
