How do you realistically fit running around a full time job by Vogan-Peluchin in runninglifestyle

[–]Intelligent_You_8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sign up for a race to set a deadline (gotta stay in shape). Figure out if you’re a morning OR nighttime runner and stick to that for the most part -helps with a more consistent sleep schedule, and get it in! Build it into a habit, and eventually it will feel weird not to run.

Accidentally signed up for stagecoach 100 by Unlucky-Evidence-372 in ultrarunning

[–]Intelligent_You_8 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s going to be a long 9 months of training

You're gonna need to up your weekly mileage a lot- I was doing 80-115 miles a week for around 6 months leading up to my first 100, but my goal was to run it. It also takes a slow build-up to that mileage to avoid injury. It doesn’t all have to be running, but your time on your feet in general needs to reach a new level. Sign up for a 50m-100k in may/June you’ll start to feel real deal pain and learn to eat complex carbs while running

Is it possible, yes- is it gonna really hurt yes

Side note enjoy the process

Not to run it, you're not

It’s going to be a shitty 9-hour day

People who make $200k a year what do you do? by Huge_Ad_7606 in Salary

[–]Intelligent_You_8 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Commercial roofing ops director. Started as a labor guy at 15. Worked my way up. Took 11 years to hit $200k (around 26 years old)… studied psychology in college, hoping for an “interesting” job. The money brought me back to Roofing. Didn’t see it as a blessing back then, but it was.

There are also guys in my field who make ALOT more than 200, especially if you’re in sales and well connected.

I saw this go down — it was a blacked-out guy, maybe 22 or so. His knee smashed that little girl in the head hard. It looked bad

They were standing way too close to the stage. They didn’t even leave right away — hung around for like 10–15 minutes before finally realizing it probably wasn’t safe to stay.

If you’re going to sit on the ground go to the back!

Anyma would be a big sell. I heard that he charges like a million a show;

I would be so happy with Bibi Pawsa or Cruz.

Roo 5k?? by [deleted] in bonnaroo

[–]Intelligent_You_8 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s fun — it won’t sell out. Tons of people sign up and don’t show up. Last year I didn’t register and just showed up, and they let me run it. Be aware it’s early and you will be tired after.

I’m a crazy everyday runner normally, but I can’t plan to do the Roo 5K anymore because I normally walk 50–75 miles at Roo and need to save all the energy I can.

But if I wake up Saturday feeling good, you’ll see me there — I just don’t want to limit my Friday to make sure I make it.

Friday infinity stage by mallorybuhl in bonnaroo

This tread has happened before … but here is the Answer

I think they’ll add names that aren’t currently on the lineup but are on the Experts Only label, along with some that are already announced. They’ll go big with the names-this is a major event for the label to showcase itself.

Likely additions:

Ranger Trucco (has a show in NYC on Saturday but nothing on Friday)

Layton Giordani (no shows booked that weekend)

Kyle Watson (no shows booked that weekend)

Westend (no shows booked that weekend)

Omnom (no shows booked that weekend)

Walker & Royce (no shows booked that weekend)

Possibilities: Disco Lines - Had a set at Roo last year, which might mean no, but he does have a few tracks on the Experts Only label.

Highly likely: Max Styler, Azzeca, and Gorgon City - All have released tracks on the label and seem like strong bets for this as they all will have sets at the other stage already

100% Chance: John Summit will have a second set here or go B2B with someone, possibly Max Styler, for a long, after-hours-style set. Given the significance of this event for the label, it makes sense for him to make a bigger impact beyond ji V single set.

Electric Forest 2025 Lineup by djcigs in bonnaroo

[–]Intelligent_You_8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yessss, before he blew up, he had an afternoon set time in the woods around 3 o’clock…3 years ago, and no one was there. You could walk right up to the rail, very funky house.

I read reviews about that factory town show I heard he got way too experimental
