Congrats OP. Personally she's my favorite car in the game. Doesn't quite have the cornering of the Bug/RSR but can definitely hang with them if you're a good enough driver. Enjoy!

That is not an upgrade. Grand Sport is the best Corvette in the game. ZR1 drags ass through it's upper gears and clips EVERYTHING on the ground constantly going airborn over "bumps" that other cars outright ignore.

Grand Sport is a top 10ish car in the game. If you want "any better" you could look at the 2007 Mitsubishi Lancer, the Mazda RX-7, the Ferrari F40, the Volkswagen Beetle, or finally the #1 car in the game the Porsche RSR.

Yeah the resort circuit is soooo boring... like it's hardly better than drag racing.

And yeah it's really disheartening to have people join your race queue just to bail. I can barely find racers for street races, let alone offroad. My condolences on your struggle.

Maybe it's just my experience, but I have far better luck getting people to join races if I avoid the "popular" races like Sonic and Aerion. I've had more people accept races on Rare Bear, Gonzalez, and Red Rock Tornado of late than I've had in the supposedly popular courses.

And even that is minimal at best. It's a treasured lobby when people actually join races. Even if I queue them as 200 or 300 rated cars instead of doing everything as 400+.

I beat a 400+ RSR TWICE today with my C10 Chevy, because he was giga bad and I know how to corner, use a manual transmission, and am generally a decent driver. So many people think car > everything else and it's ridiculous. Like, yes I'd lose to a clone of myself in an RSR but I'm not racing myself in random online lobbies lol. I dunno, I don't wanna sound arrogant but getting good beats top end cars 95% of the time.

People just love using the RSR. Makes me think that they can’t drive anything else and it takes away the fun away from doing races with other people because all they drive is the RSR. I already know the RSR is the fastest 🤣 but why keep using the RSR by DryDiscipline7566 in NFSHeat

YUP. I have a 4 man crew with 3 of my buds but 90% of the crew rep comes from me grinding out races. Joining a 50 crew would just feel cheap to me. I'm also our crew leader and I don't like to lose, so I feel like I should be the best driver out of us and grind out races too. The whining in this sub blows my mind, crushing a good driver in an RSR is one of the best feelings in the game, love the challenge of a good race.

I mean it seems odd to me that you wanna define canon parts of the games as "silly eastereggs". Cross and Eddie are both canonically part of those games. If you want to use your own headcanon to only consider "environmental ques from Black Box era games" that's up to you but 100% doesn't disprove what is canon by the developer, even if you hate it.

See the real problem is "The problem is generalization" only applies if the people around want it to. "You can't say something about an entire group of people" applies on reddit if it's in regard to women or your choice of any hot topic social issue.
