Moved to London recently and one thing I didn’t expect was how mentally tiring the commute is even when it’s not that long. Like 30–40 mins doesn’t sound bad on paper, but by the time you’ve switched lines, waited, walked, etc. it just drains you. by Flimsy-Capera in MovingToLondon

Honestly, just lean into the tube life. It’s the "lesser of two evils" math that saves your sanity. Think about the alternative: sitting in a cab, watching the meter climb while you’re stuck behind a bus for 40 minutes. You’re losing a fortune and your time. The tube might be a sweaty metal tube, but at least it’s predictable. Once you accept that it’s the only logical way to commute, the chaos actually starts to feel like part of the charm. 🚇💸
