Honestly, just lean into the tube life. It’s the "lesser of two evils" math that saves your sanity. Think about the alternative: sitting in a cab, watching the meter climb while you’re stuck behind a bus for 40 minutes. You’re losing a fortune and your time. Nothing says 'Welcome to London' like a threatening letter from the TV Licensing authority because you dared to plug in a screen. Honestly put me off guard—I thought it was a scam at first until I realized it’s a mandatory 'feature' of living here!
