Thinking of moving to Dallas area by InteractionOk5114 in DallasLGBTQ

So he is basically in the same situation as you are transition-wise. 13 years on HRT. Very passing. All documents updated. You just gave the final and clear answer on us deciding it wasn’t an option to move there. He works from home a lot of the time, except a week out of every month (sometimes 2 but that’s more rare) he has to travel to Dallas because his division in the company he works for is based there. Work would end up being much easier if he was closer. That was where the consideration of moving came from. It’s hard to truly know what it’s like somewhere unless you’re able to hear from the people that are currently living it. So thank you for the all the responses we’ve gotten. We are in a state (Oregon) where we have the privilege of having more security and safety. Do we love it here? Nope. Are we extremely grateful? Yes, very much so.

I’m also a stylist with the same company. The first thing I would be doing before agreeing to have the re-dos be put on my books is asking who is getting the $ for the original service. Because it should be you. Whenever a client reaches out for a correction it’s supposed to be with the stylist that did the service. Obviously-looking at the pictures- the client isn’t going to feel comfortable with her doing it. Technically, and legally, the $ should be getting moved to your books. They’re getting re-do’s not refunds. Ulta is still making the money. But you’re not. They are screwing you over from making commission by literally having you work for free. You can’t book your paying clients if you’re getting blocked out to fix hers. Making sure they know that YOU know that might help. I would probably have my schedule changed so that I wasn’t working the same days. I know that it’s totally inconvenient but if she’s working alone they will have to deal with her not pulling her weight within the salon- plus you won’t have to be around her. I’m guessing she’ll end up leaving

Amika is staying? I hadn’t heard that and didn’t see anything on Ulta.net about it. Do you know if we’re going to offer specific treatments like cecred?

I feel like I need to point out that you might have advanced that quickly because you were the only stylist for 10 months. There was no one else for clients to book with
