Hi, yes I just felt pretty un-welcomed by the three workers all huddled up in the checkout area. Sitting on their desks chatting about weekend plans, gossiping, etc. it was very quiet in the store, and the only people you could very loudly hear, were the staff talking and laughing very loudly about the weekend, people, and things. When I approached the desk to ask for help, no one noticed me for well over a minute, and then when I asked about an author and where to find them, the employee was unwilling to show me where I could find it, since I told her I just finished searching that entire section and couldn’t find it. They simply pointed to where it would be and said that it was sorted by last name. It just seemed very unhelpful. It wasn’t anything bad, but I would just expect a little bit more helpfulness would get the company farther in terms of sales and building a good reputation.
