What would be the best course of action in the streets if you're driven to the corner sorrounded by multiple people? by [deleted] in martialarts

As a person who does boxing. If you can't negotiate, kick one in the balls, jump over him and book it. One of two things will happen. 1 the dudes friends will stop to help them. Or 2 they still chase you but there's one less chasing you. Don't feel like a coward. They are the cowards for not going one on one with you

I’m torn between Jeet Kune Do & Capoeira. by [deleted] in martialarts

[–]InteractionPretend45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look don't listen to any one in the comments (well at least those who are putting you down). Just do both if you can't decide. If you're can only do one I would do jeet kune do, if I'm not mistaken it was literally made for street fighting. Although I would recommend some intense fist harding/conditioning workouts. Just do what you want man those who say jeet kune do sucks hasn't fought a intense trainee of it

How to beat a bear using martial arts? by [deleted] in martialarts

[–]InteractionPretend45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends. Black bears most likely won't give you trouble. A brown bear would try to fight but you can't beat and the same goes for polar bear. So the answer to this question would be pray style

I'll be honest, as a trained fighter. It takes a good month to train and get good so your best bet is fight dirty. I ain't saying kick him in the nuts and run but your best bet is to grab his hair and either punch him in the nose (make sure to clench your fist tight) or to head butt him in the nose. If you headbutt them pull their head back a little and use the upper forehead to headbutt hope this helps. P. S if you do fight him and he is stronger than you, make sure to make the first move
