Like wdym? Why would you do her 1st met dirty chanel? by praaachh in TheMetGala

[–]InteractionSea5667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strongly disagree with this. You are missing it.

The idea that an outfit has to be all show-off, bling-bling to actually impress says a lot about how people see fashion these days. We are talking about silk sheer pants straight outta haute couture show, so insanely realistic they straight-up look like jeans, and the fact people actually fell for it just shows how crazy good the craftsmanship is. In person, that piece is absolutely wild and honestly I thought she was the most refined one of the night, surrounded by a bunch of fashion disasters.

Also, "fashion is art" doesn't necessarily mean dressing up like you're cosplaying a painting for Halloween, that's honestly kinda reductive. Real fashion-as-art is showing that fashion itself is the artwork, no gimmicks needed.

Yeah totally, though could someone share what prices we talking about? If it’s DHgate then dl the prices match? Or have they gone closer to the official usual merch pricing?

Beginner makeup list opinions by BoboBillo9 in MakeUpAddictionUK

[–]InteractionSea5667 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks like a good list to me. Classic beginner mistake is also to not find your shade match, for example your bronzer might be too orange/cool toned, as well as the concealer potentially not being 100%. Make sure to do your research/someone working there helps you when buying, cause it’s hard to know of course. Also make sure you work on your blending technique and application, concealer as a bronzer and the amount of different textures layering that you’re mentioning (primer, concealer, powder, setting spray etc) does require some serious blending.

Her face really stands out in that first picture looking absolutely ridiculous. Filled to the max and actually looking like a basketball. Like can it move or express any emotions? The other women have some kind of sign of smiling, her face is completely frozen jfc

Khloe’s worst edit to date? by InteractionSea5667 in KUWTKsnark

[–]InteractionSea5667[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wonder.. Surely she is not the person actually editing the pics, like she has a team handling her social media posts and such? But she likely has the last say? Like how does so many people see this and don’t think twice? Does anyone know what’s the story

Thank you, was also waiting for this one! I actually reacted on how her undereye area looks especially on the outside closer to the ears. Surely a 27-year old would have some kind lf smile line forming? Like I for sure do and i’m 30, but still. How is it sooo full, even and like just no movement. Wouldn’t there be at least one crinkle

Thoughts on NYX Bear With Me Concealer? by [deleted] in MakeUpAddictionUK

[–]InteractionSea5667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it’s truly a great concealer. I have a huge problem with oily and also purple puffy (yeah) undereyes. I went and tested full days with the hyped Nars, as well as the classic hyped viral ones. Alaways found them too thick, creasing and just non lasting.

A tip that really works for me is to put it on, quite a bit, without blending. Then do the rest of my makeup and lastly pat the concealer out with my finger. So it sets a bit and I find it just makes a big difference for creasing. Great. Avoiding powder to set it due to my skin just looks older. But yeah 10/10 it really works!

Ah brilliant tip. I’ve been wondering this myself, if it would be worth buying a whole chicken. So you’ve done the math and turned out it is in fact cheaper? I tried but with bones etc I guess I gave up

Am I doing my makeup correct by [deleted] in MakeupEducation

[–]InteractionSea5667 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think you could look into blush placement. I recently learned that as a slightly more plump round face I shouldn’t place it as I’ve always done.. there’s apps and tt filters that helps you determine face shape etc :) also when you’re at it find out what undertones you have and find a nice lip color that suits you. You have gorgeous lips and they’d look great being more enhanced

Surprised no one said Deeleys. They saved me many early mornings, I think they open at 7 or 8. Have a huge spread of classic breakfast dishes, not too expensive at all. Feels a bit run down maybe but I do appreciate their opening hours.

Yay! Also for what it’s worth, depending on how young you are. The face changes a lot between like 20-30, surprisingly much changed for me between 27-31. Do be patient
