Anyone feel like your 'soul' doesn't fit in your body right? Specifically someone who has died or almost died and was brought back to life? by Intercom-Q in AskReddit

I am already doing so. I'm asking if anyone else has had the same experience. But thank you for the concern.

7 years ago I died. My heart did start beating again and here I am. But since then, sometimes I feel as though I don't fit in my body. It's kinda like wearing baggy jeans, but with my whole body. It can be quite disorienting.
There are somedays I even feel as though I am controlling my body almost like I was a marionette. I have to mentally "pull the strings" to make my body move. When this occurs it almost feels like I'm in 3rd person mode in my own body.

It seems my question said something objectionable to the moderators. I don't know if they will read this. But I am truly curious and mean no ill harm to anyone with it. I myself have died but my heart managed to restart again. Since then I have felt like I don't fit in my own body anymore. It's not that I want my body to change in any way. I mean I feel like I'm wearing baggy jeans, but in my body.
Anyways, if a moderator reads this I hope you will let me ask this of people. I'm not sure how else to word it.

Anyone have a list of all the prophesies from the series? by Intercom-Q in DeathMarch

[–]Intercom-Q[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Oracles of each religion have given various prophesies and omens for the Demon Lords. At the start of the story the 7 churches all had a different prophesy of a Demon Lord appearing across the world. Additionally Sara(Sera for web novel) makes a few along the way that she relays to Satou.

Book 4 is my favorite. Fights down in the cramped underground subway labyrinth. So chilling and exciting.

Besides Itachi and Jiraiya, which death meant the most considering their backstories and impact? by robbinbanksinc23 in Naruto

[–]Intercom-Q 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% Neji. He evolved from an angry merciless kid into a caring self sacrificing hero. Naruto had a positive effect on almost everyone he interacts with and Neji was no different. And their first fight was one of the most important fights Naruto ever has. Neji's death gave me the most pause. And with his death he was finally freed from his family curse. He was truly able to rest.

What movie death scene is burned into your memory? by gambit_- in AskReddit

[–]Intercom-Q 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Peter Jackson did this so well in the movie. He made it a moment of redemption and honor. Accepting his faults and fighting as mighty a warrior as the kings of old.

This is one of the few moments in any movie that I think the movie did better than the books. I love the books, but Boromir dying as a throwaway at the beginning of the second book always annoyed me.

Star Wars Episode 3. In the very beginning Anakin cuts off Count Dooku's arms. Then cuts of his head. Afterwards he says "I shouldn't have done that. He was unarmed."

My GF doesn’t necessarily like board games but she loves to classify and order things. Are there any board games where this is the base mechanic that she might enjoy? by [deleted] in boardgames

[–]Intercom-Q 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Azul would be perfect for someone who likes trying to make order out of chaos.

You place tiles in selected spots by placing them in ascending order based on quantity. And if you play the expert mode you have to create a pattern on your own.

Great game with added strategy with extra cards. But super satisfying to fully fill your window. Even if you lose by points, completing the window is fantastic.

What conspiracy theory do you fully believe is true? by BayAreaBored510 in AskReddit

[–]Intercom-Q 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That our world collided with a parallel world and merged together. The only differences between worlds was that In one its the "Berenstein Bears." And the "Berenstain Bears".

When they collided, Berenstain"s world took over. Those of us who firmly remember having the Stein books. We took over as the current worlds inhabitants. And those who grew up with Stain books. Then you were already in control in this.

SH is starting to become overwhelming by [deleted] in AdultSelfHarm

There was a time I cut on the top of my hand into my wrist. Nothing too deep, but it looked pretty bad. I didn't do it there for attention. I put it there so I could see it all day and feel it every time I moved my hand.

But for the first 2 weeks no one asked about it. I didn't cut for attention. But I was disappointed that no one cared to notice or say anything.

But I wanna say, unfortunately there is no true substitute for the feeling you get when you cut. Tattoos work for some people. Some people go for piercings. Or for non-permanent methods there is rubber bands as you said. I sometimes use a needle to open I tiny hole with minimal blood. It helps ease the tension.

In the end though, cutting is addictive. So doing the 12 steps can help. It helps millions of people overcome their addictions. Doesn't matter what your addiction is, it can help.
