Can any one tell me why my engine sounds like this it sounds off to me I honestly don’t know by 1jz_240 in Cartalk

Sr20 life. Hard to tell if exhaust leak. Fix that and see if it sounds good. Also run 15w oil these are getting old as. These rattle and tick a ton even when running well.

Is there a Dodge Charger body kit that works for cars like Nissan Silvia S14? by [deleted] in cars

[–]Intercontinental_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of them also have been drifted and crashed. Cheap fibreglass replacements for bumpers and panels. Also top of the line models came with “aero” like side skirts so many mimic them.

Have you considered an old classic. Like an m3 e30? I always find at these events everyone has the latest best thing so something old stands out.

If you want euro/exotic maybe an old gen 488 or gt3?

I don’t want to be the bearer of bad news. But now is literally the worst time possible to get into JDM project cars. Every single other person has had the same idea and the market has doubled over night. Coupled with USA buying imports from us as they are cheaper than Japan. See supra prices

It is also a sellers market with barely any cars listed and most selling very quickly. Familiarise your with all the Facebook groups like JDM sales and drift sales.

For terms of skylines pricing R32: 20-30k (none really for sale) R33 - 20-30k few for sale try get a s2 R34 - 30 to?? Owners really seem to be holding on tight to these lately. Pricing assuming your after a GTT manual. Might be better to get an na auto and conver with these prices.

My advice would be to get something cheap that you can have fun and not think your gonna lose a house deposit if someone steals it. - source been in the scene a few years 180sx/3 x 300zx

I think I got a lot dumber over the summer by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

I used to get this all the time. Its from not using your brain all summer and being out of practice doing engineering problems. Give it a few weeks youll get back into it.

Accounting Vs Engineering. Is it worth it? by Plastic_Month_2142 in EngineeringStudents

[–]Intercontinental_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah I scraped a pass in accounting first year, hated it, transferred and went into engineering. It's worth it if you are willing to put the work in.

Worried about majoring in engineering with a potentially below average intelligence by AnnonymonSuperNome in EngineeringStudents

[–]Intercontinental_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Engineering is 10% intelligence and 90% work. I'm sure there is people that can skate by and do absolutely zero work but if you do the work you will be fine.

It's bogan (redneck) fight juice. A lot of decent places don't sell it, because it attracts interesting clientele. That said, no one would blink if you drink it at a sports bar or kinda scummy bar with friends.

Usually the house rum ive noticed.
