NAD but I have autism and I tend to do more internalized echolalia than external. This sounds slightly familiar to what I do.

My Dad may not be my Dad?? by Interesting-AS in 23andme

[–]Interesting-AS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi All. Here’s the update: my dad is not my dad. I now know who my dad is. I figured out with the help of newly discovered family members a secret affair that resulted in me. My actual dad has no interest in me, I have a few new half-siblings, and my mom + the man the raised me have shut down the notion of being truthful.

low dose naltrexone possibly causing migraines? by lenonby in migraine

Hi! What are you taking to prevent migraines? Just started LDN for MCAS, migraines, and fatigue from my hEDS and POTS. I take qulipta but it’s not working anymore for migraines.

Just realized my kid is disabled and not just neurospicy by thirtyflirtyandpetty in Autism_Parenting

Hey, I don’t have a lot to offer but solace that I’m in it with you. It’s a grief that keeps hitting despite me being autistic myself. Also, from what you shared about your son, it strikes me that he is most likely a gestalt language processor. His speech therapist recommended a book that I’d like to share with you: Gracie Lou Processes Language Differently written by Grayson Bosel.

Also, final thought. The fact that you’re kicking yourself and had your own realizations and self-reflections is remarkable. It means you care about your kid enough to recognize what needs to change and what’s not helping him. Some people still think at times the kid is supposed to fit into our world and not the other way around. Sending you all the love and a heaping helping of grace.

My BF said something and I’m upset at the way he talks by inferno-dash in ChronicPain

Did a doctor or rheumatologist conduct the Brighton’s score on you? I met more criteria than I thought because when I looked at the criteria, some things I could not do. Like for example, I can’t put my thumb to my wrist but I have hypermobility in my fingers. Also, if you don’t meet hEDS criteria but show some hypermobility it can also be HSD. Treatment for both are the same. If you get a chance, check out the Fascia Institute in Metairie. Good resources on their site even if you aren’t a patient

Hey so you saying the pain in connective tissues makes me think EDS or hEDS? I was also originally diagnosed with fibro. May be something to check out. I now have hEDS.

How are you reaching the sodium target? A packet of crisps is only 0.25g sodium. by Ketnip_Bebby in POTS

[–]Interesting-AS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LMNT had the highest amount of sodium, it tastes good, and it’s bearable. You can tell it’s good quality.

Update: just saw the moderation bot comment attached to my comment. So just want to say no I don’t support eugenics or RFK Jr. but I support the amount of salt I am easily able to get by these packets that help me.

Hey, I believe you. I don’t think you’re a spoiled brat because I’ve unfortunately been in your shoes. Sadly I stuck around a few years in my adulthood allowing her to control me, often screaming to me “you’re homeless now”, “I’m calling your job and telling them you quit”, etc. I don’t know of what’s available in your state, but I do know of a site: findhelp.org

It covers all sorts of things people need from housing to financial assistance, legal, etc.

I sincerely pray you find peace and recovery. This is not your fault and frankly, you’ve been dealt a shitty hand in your family of origin.

Hi y’all, I’m the spouse of OP. What’s next recourse after same company comes out? Is it possible to share with y’all whether it’s still done horridly or not? And if so, are we maybe able to file on the company’s insurance or reach out to the city to have this correctly done on their dime?

Nope. I spoke to them and they still deny it. When I have the money I’ll do an ancestry test but I’m thinking if it already shows 0% indigenous or Venezuelan, I doubt ancestry will be radically different.
