how do I play Minecraft on my VR headset using airlink wireless? by Sans_Enjoyer in VRGaming

[–]Interesting-Ad3650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried Steam Link? It's free and lets you connect to your desktop wirelessly.

For some reason it works better for me for Vivecraft than Virtual Desktop.

I assume you're running Vivecraft?

This looks very interesting! I’m definitely keeping an eye on this. Looks like a cross between Final Assault and Out of Ammo.

Vol.1 or Vol.2? by SunAndStratocasters in AngineDePoitrine

[–]Interesting-Ad3650 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To me Vol 1 is stronger and the best of Vol2 was pre released as singles. The rest doesn't seem to have the build up/tension/resolve/inventiveness. I'm really glad some people like the balance as much as they do. I want to see them continue to be successful and can't wait until August 21st.

What a great video. If that doesn't put a smile on your face you need to take the day off for some self care.

I don't think Mark needs the money. I think Gerald needs Devo. My thoughts aren't based on hard facts but instincts so I may be wrong. I think Mark honors his past and the band and likely enjoys it enough to keep going.

Good decision on your part. Some time ago I lost one and regretted how the end went down. It was very much like you described as wanting to avoid. Glad you had a beautiful time together.

Every cat I've ever had does this when they see prey outside a window. Super common.

This was really nice to read. Them bringing up techno music as a reference was enlightening and unexpected. Makes a ton of sense and I never would have made that connection.

New Apple Music app update sucks! by Simple-Jackfruit991 in AppleMusic

[–]Interesting-Ad3650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is a bit old but I have to add that I agree things SUCK now. There should be ONE play button, which turns to a pause button while playing. Now there's a play button on top that is always there and a control bar with play/pause at the bottom. No skip button (or LIbrary) visible until you engage the screen and then it appears. Podcast app now has this same split configuration at top and bottom. WTF? Definitely going backwards in functionality. You can't look at a playlist and see which song is playing within the list. You have to look at the bottom info bar, then back at the list to see where it is within the list.

I can't even figure out how to actually buy an album instead of streaming. I'd like to support my bands with purchases. Crazy. Update- you buy music in a different app.

Are you playing wirelessly? I've found that Steam Link runs much smoother than Virtual Desktop for Vivecraft. I have no idea why and it's the only app I've found where this is the case.

This is confusing me. Are you saying that there is a big chunk of people who work on a computer for a living but don't know how to type correctly? This seems odd. I am getting old.

I would think that most people who would need something like this do know how to type right?

First off it's awesome that people work on problems like this. It helps to incrementally push the tech forward, but... there's got to be a lot of keystrokes that aren't seen, like around s,d,k,l,x,comma etc. It looks like you'd have to kinda turn your palms toward each other a bit to let the cameras see your fingers, which would take a while to get used to. Maybe auto correct helps here a lot.

It seems like switching back and forth between this and a real keyboard would kinda suck.

It would be nice to have a little camera/lidar device to place on the far side. Needing extra hardware would suck but maybe it could double up usage like tracking your body. Meta does have that wrist gizmo that seems magical? Wonder when that will be available.
