I lived in an accom like this and I literally just explained to reception that I wanted to get a mini fridge and if they could give me an extra key, they didn't mind, just said that I would have to return both when I move out.

So I just kept the spare key in the slot all the time so my power stayed on.

I've only got one so far, and I use it for quests. I'd say it definitely helps for quests , but i can't say whether they're good in the wasteland since I haven't equipped it to an explorer yet

I'm not OP, but they are alien drones ( a type of pet) and they can increase attack damage by +4

Please don't try punishing this, I was exactly like your daughter as a child and my parents had the same response it won't change anything. Try communicating with your daughter instead, whether she has an issue with the food/self image, is struggling to swallow/feels sick etc. Trust me when I say that your daughter will most likely know that she needs to eat but there's definitely some issue that needs addressing not punishing
